We were attacked here by 4 men in a landrover. They were banging on the windows, shouting and trying to open the doors. They stayed for about an hour smoking weed before they left and we made our escape. Please don’t stay here if there are no other campers.
Not had a great experience here. In the middle of the night, a few cars parked beside our van and the men were talking loudly and knocking on our van. Sounded like they dealt with some shady business.
lovely spot but just on to much of a slope for us to sleep there so moved on.
Nice spot with a good view! Short walk to pubs, although the Three Merry Lads is really expensive!! A few dog walkers parked up early evening but they were very friendly, we were the only van there overnight.
Stopped there gone midnight and was a fairly quiet road especially as its situated half way down a steep hill on a tight bend so cars going up or down were slow and therefore less noisy driving past. No signs stating no overnight stay but no fly tipping. Further down the hill is a farm that you can camp and park at as well but didn't go because of the time we arrived in the area. Semi decent view
