Rang ahead, envelopes in a plastic container left of main doors. Fill in front, £10 per night. Had a very quiet night . Wonderful location. Plenty of rubbish bins and a recycling point. Lovely walk through the back streets of historical Heptonstall. Village owned well stocked grocery shop. A couple of friendly pubs too. What else does one need ?

Fabulous area to visit and a really great place to stay overnight, with lovely views etc. Heptonstall and Hebdon Bridge are both lovely, and as we were at the Talking Pictures TV event at the Picture House in Hebdon Bridge, we will need to come back again at some point, which we are really looking forward to doing soon. The hill up to the Heptonstall bowls club is a challenge but we’ll worth it!

Gorgeous and peaceful parkup. But now £10 a night. Water and waste available. No toilets

Great Campri aire, £5 per night gravel hardstanding, Two lovely pubs in Heptonstall , Hebdon bridge is within walking distance but is really steep decent down we got the bus back up..Lovely place and very quiet ..

Saturday night stay, lady very helpful & just £5 to stay. Large carpark with view. Car park is level ish, but we did use the blocks too. We used the this as a base for Hebden Bridge, please be aware it’s extremely hilly if you decide to walk but taxis are available or the local buses. Phone signal was hit and miss considering there is a large phone mass in the car park. Would return again.

Absolutely beautiful place this £5 night is one of our favourite places to visit we love the village the pubs cafe then the walk down the step hill

So peaceful. Great views. Beautiful village and walks. 20 minute walk down to Hebden Bridge and regular buses (it's very steep!).

  • 5/5

Our second stay here in a year. Peaceful and reasonably level. Great area for walking and good bus service to Hebden for further walks and shops. We enjoyed a meal at the local pub. Also had a pint in the club bar. An enjoyable stopover on our way up to Scotland.

Fri 19th and Sat 20th April had a very peaceful time. Bowling Club very friendly and a cracking village. 12th century church with the most amazing graveyard I have ever seen. Hebden Bridge a nice spot too. All for a fiver a night. Thanks Bowling Club.

Excellent parkup in a lovely village. Phoned ahead to book space and Jean was very friendly and helpful. Walk around the village was great- cobbled streets, local history including counterfeiters and hangings! Cafe shuts at 4pm (we just missed it!) closed Monday and Tuesday. Museum £3. Lovely views and good place for walks- carpark quite exposed and windy! definitely come back

Booking is essential with a maximum of 5 vans, the car park gets quite busy during the day with walkers and cyclists. Quite flat and gravel surface. It’s on top of a hill, so it could get wild on a windy evening.

  • 4/5

Nice large flat car park, lovely views across the valley. 5 pounds per night. No facilities.

  • 4/5

Quiet location on edge of village - 2 good pubs nearby. Site is flat. Signs ask for donation for overnight stay. Water / WC emptying not open but then it is October and no one about much. Useful overnight stop.

  • 4/5

A good pit stop for water and toilet emptying. Nice views a short walk down the hill and to visit Sylvia Plath's grave at the cemetery. Nothing to write home about but good if you need a bit of a reset. £5 to stay the night and another £5 for access to the tap and manhole. Telephone number is on the bottom of the rules list.

Heptonstall bowling club is at the top of a hill with stunning views. There is a large flat car park next to the bowling club. the village is well served by public transport, has 2 pubs, a cafe and post office and village store and a gift shop. The graveyard contains the remains of a previous church plus the "new" one. Here you will find the graves of Sylvia Plath, "King" David Hartley

Don't confuse with Hebden Bridge bowling club!! That one is down a very steep narrow road to a dead end at the bottom. very tight between parked cars and the wall with inches to spare. no place. nowhere to pass or turn around until you get to the bottom then you can't get to that bowling club!

  • 3/5

Car park at the side of a working man's club. It's a quiet spot to stay if you're passing through but not worth a drive down just to stay. 4G signal. Not much to do and not really any views.
