Lovely views of the reservoir. Enough space for six camper vans comfortably. Clean and tidy for the most part although there is evidence of some “nature toileting”. Not a great phone signal. Nice and quiet, felt safe with a couple of other vans here when we arrived. Nice walks round about and pub up the road. Would park here again.

Great quiet place to spend the night with good views over the lake. It's not particularly level and there are a few potholes on way in but no problem if you take it slowly. Just to be clear, there are no facilities.

une très belle escale pouvant accueillir 3 motorhome. belles balades a pieds,en vélo ou en running autour de la péninsule a partir de l'emplacement. Très bon petit resto en haut de la colline. Emplacement calme avec belles vues sur le lac. Aucun problème de sécurité et aucun service. Poubelles et WC de chantier disponibles a 700m de l'emplacement vers le haut de la colline.

Can’t fault this place. No facilities, which is why 4 stars. Good reception on 3 mobile. Quiet night. Great view of lake and a lovely walk .

Schöner, ruhiger, abgeschirmter Platz. Etwas schräg, aber ausgleichbar. An den See kommt man nicht.

Great spot. There were two other vans when we arrived and we still comfortably fit (we're a long MH). Right next to the water. Very quiet thru the night. From about 8am cars came and went with dog walkers/runners. Will definitely return.

Great place to stop over!! We were the only ones in the car park for the duration and waking up to the lake was amazing. A steady brew watching the sunrise. Kids didn’t sleep though.

Endroit très calme. De la place pour environ 6/8 véhicules.Super spot nous y avons passé une nuit avec deux gros camping car, pas de soucis pour partager l’espace avec les véhicules présents. Des personnes viennent se garer pour se balader. La vue splendide sur le lac !

Très pour une halte d'une nuit, c'est calme la nuit et belle vue sur le lac. Un peu de passage de voiture au matin sur la petite route.

Not for us to many parked cars and camera with Police warning about criminal activities being monitored.

Lovely place, little bit of a bumpy ride to get there. Just drive calmly. U can sometimes hear the heavy traffic from the mainroad but overall a very nice place to stay and overnight.

Hard packed mud ground, not very level but easily levelled. Good place to park and walk. Many midges! Lovely view.

Very quiet gently slopey park up, as has been said, getting stuck in mud potential is real. Space for around six vehicles and unrestricted.

Stayed here a couple of times now and had no problems, although a bit muddy in winter, it’s a quiet spot overlooking the lovely Rutland Water. Very nice pub/restaurant less than 15mins walk into village of Hambleton and a few minutes drive from Oakham.
