Beautiful bay with dog friendly beach. Large carpark, first 2 hours free during charged hours (9-6 mon-sat, 1-6 sun), but still need to enter reg to print a free ticket. Ok toilets in carpark. Picnic benches, great views for a lunch stop. There’s a food van but didn’t try it. Sign says no sleeping in vehicles. When I arrived (sat night) there were many vans and motorhomes parked watching sunset
Here in October, nearly empty. Amazing views. First 2hours parking free... just add registration into machine for ticket. Great little beach area to explore.
Shame no overnight but drove here to have breakfast by the sea after sleeping the night near Tesco in Oban. Toilets and short walks. Popular spot for dog walkers
overnight is allowed just no sleeping or cooking although this is a polite ask not enforceable. I turned up in my stealth microcamper and there was around 15 other vans there, including massive motorhomes. Definitely more an out of season stopover.
Je n'ai pas vu d'interdiction pour la nuit. De nombreux Camping-cars sont installés. Payant de 9:00 à 18h00 avec 2h00 gratuites. toilettes propres. Belle vue. A quelques minutes du centre ville mais beaucoup plus calme.
Bel endroit pour stationner, belle plage, pas mal de vent ce jour. A priori interdit d’y rester la nuit.
Great daytime parking, but can be very busy
Great for daytime parking. 2 hours for free. Loads of people came at about 6pm to walk the dogs. But no overnight stay.

No signs saying you can’t stay over night no tickets either. Think the locals have more issues with the neds in there boy racer car’s. Shouting and playing music reving there cars it’s a bit noisy at the weekends other than that nice place to stay over. Locals should thank the mohos for staying over 5/6/2022

Please don't overnight here! the signs are very clear and people ignoring them has caused a lot of ill will towards campers, especially the actions of some over last summer. The council have vowed to do something because the local community has been very vocal and people will be fined. There are so many great spots in the area, why camp somewhere that upsets the locals?
Stayed overnight in car park. No problems. Flat, fantastic view.
This spot is being actively ticketed now because the signs are legit. Big write up in the local paper about possibility of barrier at night imminent.
Stayed here last night 24/07/20, few other campers and some wild campers. No hassle, stayed same time 2019 and no hassle either. Toilets are locked about 8pm otherwise perfect camping spot
Tranquille et bel espace à proximité d'Oban. Avons passé une bonne nuit. Vers 9h une voiture de police est passée devant nous sans aucune intervention. Il y a donc une bonne volonté de tolérance.

On a croisé un employé municipal qui a indiqué qu'il fallait arriver après la fermeture des toilettes publiques à 20h et partir avant 8h pour être certain de ne pas être embêté. Et en effet, pas de soucis et à plat dans le haut du parking. Très calme.
We stayed here in march, april and may without a problem. We stayed here again 2 nights ago, and we got a fine.

Spent many nights at Ganavan sands but normally get up in morning to find no overnight parking notice on windscreen, never been bothered with Police, just the locals not too happy ,lovely area should visit

Great space, now there are pay and display machines. toilets. plenty of spaces. near houses.
Perfect car park. Police advised us to stop here overnight and we had no problems at all. Other campervans/motorhomes parked as well.
Superbe vue, c'est vrai. Nous pensions y passer la nuit jusqu'à ce que l'on se rende compte que c'était (ce soir-là, un jeudi 17 août 2017) le lieu d'amusement de jeunes en voiture. De plus, il y fait fort sombre. Donc, pas le top au niveau sécurité, ce qui nous a fait partir.
