Ruhiger und schöner Parkplatz neben einem Stadtpark, gut für eine Nacht. Genügend Platz für Transporter oder etwas größere Wohnmobile. Direkt hinter dem Parkeingang steht ein Wasserhahn zur Verfügung.
Aparcamiento tranquilo y agradable al lado de un parque de la ciudad, bueno para una noche. Espacio suficiente para furgonetas o autocaravanas un poco más grandes. Punto de agua disponible justo después de la entrada al parque.

Spent a really quiet night here early March 2026. 7m Iveco, I'd say that's about max you'll get in here. Not many level places but in bottom corner you'll find some and also larger spots. Beautiful park, great for dog walks, very nice views at the bottom of the park. Water tap worked.
Sehr schöner Platz über der Stadt mit Müllentsorgung und Wasser.
D'accord avec ce qui a été dit avant : propre, calme, sécurisant. Point d'eau et poubelles. Plutôt adapté aux fourgons et emplacements légèrement en pente, la parking ne compte qu'une quarantaine de places. Accès bord de mer par des escaliers, soit dans le parc soit juste au-dessus. Restaurants bord de mer 15mn (testé Oi Ataipiaetoi : très bien !). Vieille ville 45mn. L'eau a été rétablie, merci!
Very quiet and also good for large campers. Maybe a little difficult with kids to get to the old city. But you can walk through the park down to the water front and take bus no 5.

Wir liebten es hier! Super sauber und super ruhig. Wir hatten keine Schwierigkeiten und standen 2 Nächte hier. Es gibt einen wundervollen Park und das Meer ist in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Bitte haltet Ihn sauber !
Paramos aquí para comer . Se está muy bien y hay bastantes sitios . También tiene un parque y una fuente donde se puede coger agua .
Très bien. La municipalité entretient cet endroit. Il n'y a toujours pas d'eau au robinet. La police passe de temps en temps mais sans nous poser de questions.
Chouette spot, avec terrain de basket utilisé par les locaux et de nombreuses tables de pique-nique, 45 min à pied du centre de Kavala en longeant la mer. Malheureusement l'eau a été coupée.
We used this spot to wait for the ferry because there is no parking for camping cars by the port. NONE! When coming here, stay on the shore road and come up Sofokli Venizelou. Much better way to access it, our GPS was sorrily incorrect.

Angrenzende Straße ist auch in der Nacht viel gefahren aber stört nicht, wenn man müde genug ist. Parkplatz ist nicht eben und könnte für größere Wohnmobile eng werden.
Bon parking pour visiter la ville. Facilement accessible depuis l'autoroute (depuis le nord) sans devoir trop rouler en ville. Le mieux pour rejoindre la vieille ville à pied c'est de descendre les escaliers un peu plus au nord-est du parking puis de longé le bord de la mer (environ 45min de marche)
Schöner Parkplatz mit toller Aussicht und viel Schatten. Der Parkplatz liegt etwas schräg am Hang, sich gerade auszurichten fällt nicht leicht. Für größere Fahrzeuge kann es eng werden. Die Straße neben dem Parkplatz ist auch in der Nacht gut befahren, stört aber nicht wenn man sich auf die Straßenabgewandte Seite des Parkplatzes stellt.
parcheggio tranquillissimo, adiacente al parco nella parte alta della città. A 10 minuti a piedi dal lungomare, 20 dal centro e 40 dalla città vecchia e dal castello.
A clean, quiet & free parking in a small park in a civilised area. It does not look like a place where people come to "funk around". There is drinkable water fountain on premises but not a functioning toilet. We stayed for a night with our "shogun" & there were not any mosquitoes or "nosey pigs".
Au premier abord semble loin de tout mais en fait il y a des maisons et des commerces tout près. Il y a des lampadaires qui restent allumés jusqu'à minuit. Les chiens et les chats sont très gentils. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits
The parking lot is undergoing some minor reconstruction at the moment, but that didn't stop us from staying the night. The park is wonderful, there is something to do with your child. Down to the left descent into the city. It was hot at night. There was no wind at all.
Ruhiger und schattiger Platz. Ein Wasserhahn ist vorhanden und der Park ist sehr schön und es gibt dort, Bänke und Pavillions wo wir frühstückten. Als wir gegen Nachmittag ankamen und zu Kochen begannen parkten dort auch Polizisten, welche uns aber nicht weiter beachteten. Die Nacht war ruhig. Im Park wohnt ein Hund welcher entspannt ist und kein Interesse an uns zeigte.
El único aparcamiento "cerca" (3 kms) del casco antiguo de Kavala, para estacionar con nuestros vehiculos. Es tranquilo, pero con plazas pequeñas, solo para coches, y con ramas de arboles bajas. Esta ciudad NO NOS QUIERE. Mejor ir a otro sitio.
the place is very good ... some guys were there at night and laughed for a few hours, but they had nothing to do with us. They left, we continued our sleep ... there is a large parking space

Very quite and peaceful. The park is very nice, too. We were the only ones using the place.
