Hace unos días pasamos una noche tranquila en este parking. Sin señal del movil. Recomendable
J'ai séjourné ici pendant quelques nuits en juillet 2023. Un autre camping-car la première nuit, seul la seconde. Un bel endroit dans la vallée de l'Elan. Pas d'installations ni de signal téléphonique, mais pourquoi en auriez-vous besoin alors qu'il y a beaucoup à faire et à voir.
I stayed here for a couple of nights in July 2023. One other campervan on the first night, on my own the second. A beautiful location in the Elan valley. No facilities or phone signal, but why would you need that when there’s much to do and see.
Ich habe hier im Juli 2023 ein paar Nächte verbracht. In der ersten Nacht ein anderes Wohnmobil, in der zweiten allein. Ein wunderschöner Ort im Elan-Tal. Keine Einrichtungen und kein Telefonempfang, aber warum sollten Sie das brauchen, wenn es viel zu tun und zu sehen gibt?

Telboy_120/07/2025Stayed here for one night, level layby off mountain road . I would say for about 5-6 large vans. Only had a few cars passed in evening and did not hear any through the night. A second van came later to stay. Best place we have stayed at, so peaceful, scenery amazing with tree stumps sculptured into wild animals. EE was working, but not very good, and no services, would stay again and felt safe.
Alihondes30/06/2025Stayed here for 2 nights in a row no problem at all. Very quiet in the morning and evening and a few cars during the day, mostly motorbikes. Minblowingly beautiful place and very peaceful and safe. No bin, no toilets and no signal so make sure you are fully self contained and please, please leave no trace !

Stayed here last night and was a nice spot, wasn’t bother by anyone and only had 1 car go past between 11pm-8am. We were car camping so tied up our tarpaulin to the fence and was all good.

very quiet spot and level, can be quite busy in the daytime with cars and motorcycles. we stayed 2 nights on separate occasions and only heard a couple of cars on the Sunday night. Great spot to cycle round the reservoir. did a litter pick just to tidy up a bit. the other car parks say no overnight camping but no one checks in the night.
ethanbaker2223/08/2024Haven’t parked overnight here, but probably one of only place in the valley without signs saying you can’t. There is 0 signal in elan valley, the welcome center has toilets, cafe and water bottle refill as well as wifi but that’s a day car park only

Stayed here a mid July 2024. No hassle and we were there from around 6pm cooking dinner with the pop top roof up. Another van turned up around 11:30pm but otherwise very quiet. No phone signal, very dark skies and the road gets quiet after dark. Will use again when we’re in the area.
