Excellent park up - the car park is huge. Bins available. At the foothills of Tinto hill. Peaceful night. Not far from the Clyde falls & New Lanark.

popajoel21/09/2025Perdu au milieu de nulle part , il y a toujours une ou 2 voitures moteur au ralenti, discussion verbale sonore et plus de claquements de portières plus qu’il n’y a de portières.c’est un fait mondial ! calme la nuit par 6* et un ciel etoilé , bientôt l’hiver.
tg544704/09/2025Lovely quiet night spent here. Absolute pitch dark. Great stop for Tinto hill walk. A few cars came in the morning There are bins on site. 5 min walk to a lovely tea room. Fantastic stopover. No signs that say no overnight parking.

Rabbit66612/08/2025Großer Parkplatz für den Aufstieg zum Tinto Hill. Weit genug entfernt von der Straße, Mülleimer vorhanden. Der obere Parkbereich ist schon ordentlich schräg... Tags sehr belebt, nachts vermutlich ruhig. Wir blieben nur für die Wanderung. Leider wurde -oben vom Hill aus betrachtet- die schöne Natur zum Wohle des sogenannten Klimaschutzes mit etlichen Windkraftanlagen verschandelt.

Good quiet night only spoiled by someone pulling up to do the Munro at 630am with their music blasting out. Good data signal, the locals also let their dogs use the car park as their personal toilet it seems

Grand parking quasiment plat parfait pour profiter du coucher de soleil entouré de moutons et de vaches. Seulement 1 camping car en plus de notre van la nuit et des voitures de marcheurs ou coureurs qui parent le soir ou arrivent le matin, car il s’agit du départ d’une marche de 7km pour le Tinto Hill. Nous conseillons.

Arrived at 23:45 on a Friday night to a large empty carpark with space for 15-20+ vans. Super quiet night until a few dog walkers arrived at 05:00. Then a waking group at 08:00 to climb the hill. Great park-up, no issues, will be using again.

No toilets when we stayed as we assume these are seasonal. Big car park with bins. We made sure we were quiet as there are a couple of houses nearby. Very quiet spot overlooking gorgeous views. Beautiful sunset.

stayed on Friday. would probably be a good spot during the week, but we had a few boy racer types take exception to us, flashing their lights at the van etc til about midnight.

Big car park which was empty when I arrived. No toilet facility that I could see though. Quiet, good phone signal.

Très bonne nuit, calme dans un bel environnement. Point de départ de randonnée. Cerise sur le gâteau : des toilettes chimiques à disposition !
