It's an overflow parking lot, but many park here to avoid the cost of the other lot, the fine you might get, or that lot closing on you while out and about. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday Night, and some young people gather until around midnight, didn't get dark until 11. Wasn't much of a bother. We had two other camper with us. Short walk to aquaduct.
Ok, firstly, it's Saturday night. Maybe weekdays are different but I literally have boy racers doing doughnuts around my van. I had to go out to ask them to stop whilst I moved it. They were apologetic enough and we were all young and dumb at some point but it would be dumb of me to stay and risk being hit.
Had a good night's sleep, it was reasonably flat. A short walk to the aqueduct overall I would stay there again.
No services but it’s flat, it’s clean, and it’s quiet. Arrived at 10pm after having to leave another spot due to noise. The road wasn’t an issue at all. Plenty of room.
Nice quiet stop over, noise from road minimal. We were the only people overnight. No services.
Nice quiet carpark for us last night. We were alone. Tucked in at the back corner and had a great night’s sleep. A useful overnight spot to use to radiate out and see the local highlights. Not pretty in itself, but the area makes up for it in spades.
Fairly flat carpark, quiet night, nice local pub across road down the hill. Fairly good 4G (Vodafone) would definitely stay again.

Gross, ruhig, viel Platz. Nichts besonders, aber super für Fahrradtour entlang dem Kanal bis Langollen und Cirk Castle. Beides lohnenswert, vor allem Cirk Castle.
Ample free parking flat hard level surface. When we stayed it was really quiet had a great night's sleep. Easy walk to the aqueduct and would definitely stay again.
level, free car park, very quiet overnight. A couple of cars turned up about 8.30pm, they didn't stay long. A good stopover for the night.
Surprisingly quiet and trouble free. Cycled the Llangollen canal from here. It's NOT a pretty place, just a tarmac car park with a huge fence on 2 sides. There's a fair bit of litter around the place and , worst of all, the perimeter absolutely stinks of urine. People without self contained units maybe? If you're really desperate perhaps ...
Not changed much since last photo. Nearest level & free & OK overnight parking, to the stunning Trevor 'Pontcysyllte Aqueduct' - about 1/2 mile away through the pay car parks. Toilets in 'disabled only' car park. 4 mile walk along scenic canal towpath to Llangollen, with all facilities. Bus back to Trevor if you've walked enough! We had a quiet night after the children with loud cars left.
OK overnight park up, nothing exciting flat car park in quiet location. Few cars past every now and then. 800m to the canal.

great parking space for a night. no facilities. stayed here with 3 other motorhomes. some cars came in with people doing random stuff (using phone, driving lessons), but nothing that disturbed us.
Very quiet, good location with pleasant walks and close to bus route, no charges nor any signs indicating any restrictions.
Free coach / overspill car park for aqueduct clearly marked from the A road. Only 200-300 metres further to aqueduct than pay for parking closer in (which also has no overnight parking signs). Only one other vehicle when we visited yesterday although we did not stay overnight. Signage does warn that it can flood in extremely wet weather.
Fabulous stop over £3 all day and no signs to indicate no overnight parking - very close to path for Aqueduct.
Great place to stay, flat and quiet, with nice walks nearby only one here but plenty of room.
Stopped for one night in August, felt safe. very quiet. Would stay again. No problems.
Stopped for one night to visit the aquaduct which is 10 minutes walk away and well worth a visit. On our own except for brief visits by one bus and a couple of cars. Very quiet night. Probably not as busy as normal for time of year due to COVID-19 with no coaches.
