Parking lot at the top of the hill, no signs at all saying no overnight parking. There's nothing here except parking for about 10-15 cars, with awesome views over the ocean. And two benches.

There's another parking area a little further down the road where overnights are prohibited.

Excellent overnight stop. Despite height warnings in other reviews, our Peugeot Boxer (8’ 9”) cleared the bridge easily with room to spare. Access was straightforward. Two other campers in and some cars coming and going in the evening evening but it was a very quiet night overall. Felt safe and would definitely return. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay.

  • 5/5

Amazing wee spot on top of hill , great views over the sea , few dog walkers during the day and golfers as its next the the golf course but quite at nyt , road is a bit narrow getting up there but can get up with big van no problem , brilliant spot

  • 5/5

fabulous stop over. close to town but feels like you're a million miles from anywhere. great views and saw some dolphins. No amenities.

  • 5/5

Great park ups, great view. Other campers there, very quiet. Highly recommended, good overnight , perfect base for having a walk round Berwick which is lovely.

  • 5/5

Just a carpark however, 2 minutes to the beech, great view of the sea Dolphins and Seals. The storm out at sea was impressive and so was the rising Harvest Moon.

  • 4/5

Excellent park up, few dog walkers but nice and quiet. Short distance from town, walk straight onto a secluded beach, definitely recommended.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Stunning free over night spot. Quite busy during the day especially at weekends. Plenty of room for a few motorhomes campervans car campers. Vehicle needs to be under 8ft 9 due to the low bridge you have to go under to get to it. There are 2 other stops on the way upto this one. one said no overnights. The other however did not have restrictions on parking.

  • 4/5

Terrain plat macadam. Pas de facilities.

  • 5/5

Good place for a night, police did turn up at 4:45 am, but left about 5:45. There was about 6/7 vans and cars there. Not sure what they were doing but just a heads up. Left at 6 am no issues.

  • 5/5

    Lovely views and no issues.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great find! The narrow approach feels like you've gone wrong, and the arched bridge gives pause for thought - I was nervous in my low profile van. Lovely walk into town with a detour around the ramparts. The nearby pier is a good stroll too.

  • 5/5

An amazing find. Beautiful views. A bit windy. Several other campervans. Felt safe. Bin emptied, even on a Sunday. Public toilets 13 mins walk. Best free park up we have had.

  • 5/5

lovely stop over with great views however the access is not suitable for bigger vans

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

    Nuit calme !!!!!! Coin propre ! Face à l’océan !!!! « Déranger » par les mouettes !!

  • 5/5

Great stopover 18/4/25. Parking lot overlooking the sea. No height restrictions. Bin available. It was busy with about 10 vans overnight. The beach is accessible and about 50 meters away and it’s a 15 minute walk into town which is very charming. Peaceful stopover with no issues

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 1 night, amazing views. Very quiet and peaceful, lots of space. It was quite windy, however didn’t notice in the van. Nice walk in to town.

  • 5/5

always a favourite spot when in the area. a great place in stormy weather!

  • 5/5

Very quiet with great views, if a little expose in strong easterly’s. Narrow and low bridge (3.0m) to navigate in way and out but well worth it. Great little spot.

  • 5/5

Great little spot right on the pier. we were only ones there (Jan). super quiet and amazing view. no toilets nearby just FYI. no cost to park and no signs saying you can't. perfecto.

  • 5/5

We stayed here arriving after dark (5pm) and woke up to fantastic views, there were only 3 vans here so very quiet. Saw numerous local dog walkers in the morning who were all extremely friendly. Will definitely stay here again

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot overlooking the sea/Berwick harbour/town. Easy to find using coordinates listed. We have an L3H2 and stone archway was no problem at all. Site is high up so if windy van moved a little but nothing to bother us. Good phone signal. Asda about 10mins drive away if you needed to use the toilet. Overall a perfect quiet spot.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Had a great night here, lovely views out onto the North Sea. A bit windy to begin with but it soon calmed down. there were 4 vans here, no noise from anywhere. Definitely bookmark this place for the future

  • 4/5

Super nice view, but, as mentioned before, very exposed to the wind.

  • 5/5

Take PRECAUTIONS when driving here. Low bridge and single lane town and drive along unguarded rail coast line. Our 2.7m height van, 20 ft length fit fine! Most cars move for you. Arrived around 7pm and already 6 campervans made it to the top. VERY WINDY night, van rocked all night. Bathrooms at Costa, Signal great. Such a beautiful view!

  • 5/5

Stopped for one night. One other van. Nice walk into town. The odd golfer/dog walker about. small amount of noise from a car that pulled in for 20mins or so then left quiet the rest of night. Can't say much about the view as weather was a bit pants.

  • 5/5

Hi I have a lwb vw crafter and got under the bridge no problem with solar pannel tv Ariel and roof fans great place stoped for one night you have to go to the top car park only hope this helps my van 9 foot 1

  • 5/5

One of my favourite spots, had everything you need for a wild camp. Free park up with stunning views and steps away from the beach also within walking distance into the town.

  • 4/5

Great little spot. A few dog walkers when we arrived but all quiet after about 9pm. We were the only vehicle overnight. Felt safe. Got very windy in the night as it’s right on the sea front, but didn’t cause any real issues for us, other than the front black out blind blowing about a bit. No facilities but close to town centre. Would stay again.

  • 4/5

stayed here 2 Sept 24. along with a couple of others. Lots of dog walkers early on, all were friendly. Quiet all night. .

  • 3/5

Amazing view. During day time great walks and nearby public facilities. No access to public facilities after approx. 9pm. Not ideal for tentbox as there are high coastal winds so expect a noisy evening if you have one. First car park you come to has signs saying no overnight camping or cooking, follow the road up the hill and the car park is by the tee of the 16th hole of the golf club.

  • 5/5

Overnight stay here was lovely, I'd advise to get there mid afternoon to get a good spot though as it got busy! we got there for 2pm and by 5pm it was full! amazing views and very peaceful

  • 5/5

Nice stop over overlooking pier and beach. No services provided other than waste bin for rubbish. Just right van 3.5 ton measurements. Anything over this problems getting under bridge.

  • 3/5

***LOW BRIDGE!*** Looks lovely but I didn't manage to get here with my motorhome. Google maps sent me through town and down a tiny street (Ness Street) to a low bridge I couldn't get under so had to double back. I went to the other location under the bridge on the other side is fine. Perhaps there's another route to the parking? Definitely don't go down Ness Street though if you're a MH.

  • 5/5

Stayed here two nights, comings and goings from dog walkers but quiet on the evenings. Few other campers here. Didn’t get any bother at all - easy enough walk down on to the beach or into town. Public toilets about a 10minute walk (either along the coastal path towards the caravan park or into town), couple of bins on site. Great views overlooking the sea! There is a little bridge you have to drive under to get here just down the road - height restriction approx 2.7m but no height restriction on the car park itself.

  • 5/5

amazing overnight stop. quiet, peaceful. there were a few other campers here aswel, all friendly. great views. few dog walkers in thr morning. there are waste bins- one for general rubbish, one for dog feaces.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

this site looks like a really nice place to stay and we would have preferred it but it is NOT accessible by motorhomes as there is a very narrow, low bridge/gate (Ness Gate) to go under in order to reach the site, there are no size indicators on any of these little 'tunnels' smaller campervans should have no difficulties but proceed with caution.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

There are now signs saying no camping ect,the signs are newly erected

  • 5/5

Great stop, very quiet after 8pm and even before then it's only a few dog walkers and golf players coming and going. Lovely views over the sea, and plenty of little walks plus just a stones throw from the town centre. Would stop here again

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, lovely place and quiet. Easy access to the beach. The road to get there is quite narrow and a low bridge to get under. Our van is a 7mtr vw crafter, anything any bigger will struggle, and if you meet anyone coming the other way, someone has to reverse

  • 5/5

Would definitely stay here again, a few other campers there as well. Felt safe. Lovely views. 10 minute walk into the town

  • 4/5

Stayed here on a Friday night with great views out to sea at the top of a hill, very narrow streets to navigate and a small narrow arch way to get through, which we did no problem in our boxer L3 H2, a couple of cars came n went but no problems at all another camper turned up and stayed overnight, just a 2 minute walk to beach felt very safe would stay here again.

  • 4/5

stayed at the parking next to pier. Bridge was OK for our vivaro, problem was resident cars parked in road after Bridge. lots of walkers to lighthouse, but quiet at night

  • 4/5

Great stopover for a night. Low bridge and tight road up to the car park. We managed in a 2.9m high/2.7m wide/7.4m long motorhome but quite tight in places (glad hubby is a confident driver!) Lovely views out to sea. Car of youngsters turned up playing loud music at about 10pm but they didn’t stay long. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

Good for a stopover for a night or 2

  • 5/5

Got through the low bridge with no problem in fiat ducato. Excellent flat parking area with great views. Few people come and go to dog walk. No problems from locals. Along the coast path beyond the coast guard station, there's a free public toilet open daytime. Great base for exploring as the town walls are just behind you over the football pitch. Stayed overnight, lovely and quiet.

  • 5/5

Our first time using the app and hoping that should this continue to be the quality of overnights to come, we couldn't be happier. Free overnight parking with views such as these ... fantastic. There is also a bin up here.

  • 5/5

Lovely views . Another 4 vans but by time we got up in morning they were all gone . Very low medieval bridge coming in I am sure it’s 3.5m, Great for an overnight stop.

  • 5/5

Wonderful views, quiet at night. 3 others staying overnight. Very low medieval bridge coming in, we made it with inches to spare, we are just over 3m high. It is a windy spot but it didn’t bother us at all. Great for an overnight stop.

  • 5/5

Super space for an overnight, stunning view and I can hear the Curlew bird singing.

  • 5/5

Beautiful view, but windy. A lot of paths for dogwalkers. Getting here is restriction by high of your car. Mine was 2,85 plus ac in the middle of roof, so 3,15, and I’ve drove. Worth!

  • 4/5

Calme. Golf juste à côté.

  • 4/5

The height is a problem. if you are unsure of your height or don't know how to drive under low arch bridges. keep away. But I am in my Motorhome safely parked up with beautiful sunny views. my is 3m high.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Absolutely lovely with walking trails and beach access. Please use with respect!!! Given there's a carpark 300m down the road with no camping and overnight, we'd like for this one to remain free and accessible. Road leading to it is narrow, winding, single lane and under a low arch bridge. Not suitable for long and wide campers. We felt at the limit with medium roof and wheelbase MAN (VW Crafter)
