Lovely view, very friendly farmer - recommended. The description is accurate. We visited mid january when the ground was very soft but there is a small hard standing area just inside the gate which works for a single motorhome. If you are parked on that spot you will hear the occasional car passing but it's a narrow B road so they are travelling slowly. This place must be lovely in the summer.
This was just what we needed. A quiet field, fire wood provided. The farmer, most pleasant we've ever met. £16 for the night. We will DEFINITELY return here. No thrills, back to basic to reset after a disaster in France. The farmer comes round to collect the fee. Just WhatsApp him as requested.
What an exquisite site! The most stunning views of the countryside. Has a surprisingly clean portaloo (trust me, I’ve seen some shockers, but this one is five star) and a fresh water tap. The farmer and his companion are an absolute delight and couldn’t do enough for us. Kept us stocked up with plenty of logs. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.
Lovely quiet spot for a night. Simple but clean toilet and water available. Very friendly and helpful staff! We will be using this location again.
Je confirme les précédents commentaires. Endroit autant improbable que typiquement english style. Pour les avions: oui on les entend mais ils sont encore haut dans le ciel donc pas trop dérangeant. Point de départ idéal pour aller à la ville en vélo (7kms) et/ou visiter les châteaux alentours...

Planned to stay for one night ended up staying two. Lovely place to stay with great views and really nice farmer that runs it. Very basic field, there is water and a toilet that we didn’t use as self sufficient. Farmer will provide wood for camp fire if you want. Very nice pub with great food about a 20 minute walk away. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
A fabulous find: a beautiful field with fantastic views. Clean toilet and water tap. Russell is so friendly and helpful, delivering firewood when his day on his farm is done. Tricky to enter the larger field when wet, unless you have 4x4 or larger tyres. We will definitely be back. Proper camping.
Riesige Wiese auf der man sich einfach hinstellen kann wo man möchte. Toilette vorhanden. Der Bauer Russell ist super freundlich und bringt jedem der möchte ganz viel Brennholz. Naturnahes, freies Camping. <3
weitläufiger wiesenplatz an waldrändern. schöne aussicht nach westen ins tal. wasserhahn und dixiklo, brennholz wurde unentgeldlich gebracht. nachteil: liegt in der einflugschneise von london, um 1130 immer noch landungen.
