30 October 2024. This car park is sadly no longer available for motorhomes overnight, although it is currently free to park during the daytime. Photo added. There is a small car park adjacent to it, which is currently £15 for 24 hours.
Great spot. A couple of other campers here. Flat spot right by the sea. Cafes/pubs close. Also a launderette right on the corner which is handy

Free park up, few other vans, managed to get a flat spot. Right next to the sea with amenities close by.

Perfect spot, we got the chance of getting the foremost space with direct view on the beach, amazing! Poor 4G (EE) on the whole town, no signal inside the van.
great spot right by the beach, come up past the launderette. Spots nearest the beach are a little bit slopey, lots of cafes and bars

Use tarmac track up left side of launderette to go to sea end where it opens out to allow parking each side. Stayed one night having moved up as others left to be next to promenade and beach. Returned a few days later to visit daytime. Free toilets at west end of promenade. Beach further east is closed off at times for military training - when red flags are flying.
Great park up! 5 stars! Lovely beach! Lots of other vans were present so best to get a spot early if you’re looking to stay overnight!
This was a totally awesome stop. Great facilities, with toilets and places to eat nearby (the fancy looking Bistro was dog friendly!). The beach is a shallow sandy slope perfect for the kids and had a dog free zone. The headland has caves on the western side. Great fun was had by all and totally free parking! Just grab a spot facing the beach and chill.

Arrived after 6pm and got a lovely spot! There’s pubs and a play park near by and it’s a life guarded beach! Perfect for the kids.
Wat een topplekje om te overnachten als er plek is. Vannacht met ong 7 campers gestaan. Kan moeilijk zijn omdat je pal aan de boulevard staat dus druk met parkeren. Heel gek want plekje ernaast is betaald parkeren. Werden wel verzocht door iemand van ijssalon Scoop of we vandaag wilden vertrekken want het was privé parking?? Beetje vreemd, maar wij belemmerden idd wel zijn uitzicht.
What an amazing spot. Literally right next to the beach. Bins & toilets nearby as well as cafe, grocery shops and an Asian Fusion restaurant. No signs, no charge and a sea view …… perfect..!
