Amazing place to stay overnight! Very spacious and clean, with seating areas and fire pits set in beautiful nature by the river. There is a well-maintained dry toilet with toilet paper, and it's wonderfully peaceful. We stayed here during the week in June and had the whole place to ourselves. Highly recommended!
Easy to reach by mini van in spring time. Very silent near by Gaujas River. 500 meter before there is Līgatne river crossing point by car and pedestrians. There is bio toilet, camp benches and fire points. Love it.
It was super difficult to get there due to heavy rain and sand roads. Once we got there, we met a group of locals canoeing and sleeping there in tents. They were playing loud music till morning hours. Otherwise it was a nice place.

Schöner Platz, zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs viele Mücken und es sah aus als hätte ein Tier den Mülleimer geplündert. Das Wochenende waren wohl einige Kanufahrer da und hatten Essensreste in Müllsäcken weggeworfen, die flogen auf dem ganzen Platz herum. Also bitte nehmt eure Essensreste mit. Zugang zum Fluß abenteuerlich aber möglich. Ein paar Stufen sind nicht mehr ganz trittsicher. Zufahrt OK.
Sehr schöner Platz. Wir kamen Samstag Abend an und fanden viele Zelter und Kanuten vor, war aber noch Platz für uns. Wichtig! Der Weg von Norden ist nicht mehr möglich, es gibt zwei neue Durchfahrt-Verboten-Schilder, die beachtet werden sollten. Das Gelände ist privat. Anfahrt nur über den Weg von Westen an der Fähre vorbei. Dieser ist ein holpriger, schmaler Waldweg, nichts für Dickschiffe.
