Parking plat paisible avec stationnement de nuit gratuit de 18h00 à 8h00. J'ai séjourné ici beaucoup et ça a toujours été un super endroit. Pas de barrière de hauteur, l'entrée pourrait être un peu étroite pour les très gros vans ou camping-cars. Juste à côté de la rivière et du parc principal, donc quelques belles promenades en ville.
Peaceful flat car park with free overnight parking 6pm - 8am. I've stayed here a lot and it's always been a great spot. No height barrier, entrance could be a little tight for really big vans or campers. Right next to the river and main park so some nice walks into town.
Ruhiger, flacher Parkplatz mit kostenlosem Parken über Nacht von 18:00 bis 08:00 Uhr. Ich war schon oft hier und es war immer ein toller Ort. Keine Höhenbarriere, der Eingang könnte für wirklich große Transporter oder Wohnmobile etwas eng sein. Direkt neben dem Fluss und dem Hauptpark gelegen, so dass man hier schöne Spaziergänge in die Stadt unternehmen kann.

7.2 mtr motorhome. We were going to stay the night, £7.00 day free 6pm-8am. Fabulous large park with cafe, fountains etc a few minutes walk. Found another on Search for Sites at Galleywood it's only the main carpark that allows you to stay all day/night. Great walks and a community cafe in the woods amazing. Tried to add it but kept saying I was duplicating, well worth a 10 minute drive.
no height barrier today. a little tight entrance but not a problem for my 6.5m motorhome. plenty of available spaces including easy double-ups for long vehicles. price is now £7 for the day, and free after 6pm.

parcheggio perfetto per passare la notte. non ci sono stati problemi ci siamo sentiti sempre al sicuro nonostante fossimo solo noi con l'altro camper che viaggia con noi. abbastanza silenzioso e comodo per visitare il paese,15 minuti circa a piedi. consigliatissimo
Guter Parkplatz auch allein als Frau, keine Vorkommnisse, sehr ruhig bis zum Morgen, keine Annehmlichkeiten vor Ort.
it’s £6 from 8am up to 6pm mon to friday but signs don’t show cost at weekends but signs say tariffs apply mon to sunday but car park is open 24-7.
Nice, quiet spot and free all weekend! (Fri 6pm - Mon 8am) A couple of shops and a garage nearby help make it a good stopover. I stayed on a Friday night for ParkRun on the Saturday morning and there were no issues with noise or other cars.
Pretty quiet and chill car park. No height barrier and the bays are quite long, enough to fit in my MWB Sprinter. Quite a narrow entry/exit though, I think larger vans would struggle. Lovely walk into town through the park. Arrived on a Sunday and was delighted to see there are no parking charge on that day.
it's now £6 a day 12/7/23. I've stayed here overnight on a couple of occasions and had no problems. I did pay for 2 parking spaces so that's £12. the website says no camping and no sleeping and also no caravans so I thought a motorhome would be ok.
