This has to be one of the best spots we have stayed at highly recommend just take into consideration the locals not to take up to much space and clean up after yourself
Un petit parking gratuit et bien calme la nuit, très utilisé en journée par les locaux qui vont se balader en famille dans le Swan Park. Il est important de ne pas gêner en ne prenant pas trop de place. Le site est magnifique car au bord de l'eau avec vue sur le vieux pont.On est à 5' du centre ville à pieds. L'aire de service gratuite est à 3' en voiture à côté de l'Office du tourisme.
A small free car park that is very quiet at night, very used during the day by locals who go for a family walk in Swan Park. It is important not to get in the way by not taking up too much space. The site is magnificent because it is at the water's edge with a view of the old bridge. We are 5 minutes from the city center on foot. The free service area is 3' by car next to the Tourist Office.
Ein kleiner kostenloser Parkplatz, der nachts sehr ruhig ist und tagsüber häufig von Einheimischen genutzt wird, die mit der Familie im Swan Park spazieren gehen. Es ist wichtig, nicht im Weg zu stehen und nicht zu viel Platz einzunehmen. Der Standort ist großartig, da er direkt am Wasser liegt und einen Blick auf die alte Brücke bietet. Wir sind 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Der kostenlose Servicebereich liegt 3 Autominuten neben dem Tourismusbüro.

JUD6317/09/2025Awesome spot with lovely views and walks. Very busy in the evening with locals so would recommend turning up after the evening rush so no one gets annoyed as it's not the biggest parkup. In the day it's been really quiet (weekday)

Nice wee car park, snack/coffee van here in the morning. Public toilets in the Anglers association building open during the day. Very busy in the evening with locals going to enjoy the local park which is definitely worth a walk around. Quite a bit of history in the area also from Amazing Grace to Wolfe Tone

Super sweet location. Busy with locals during the day but silent at night. Swan Park is a lovely place to take the dog. Please be considerate when parking here. No facilities, we didn’t find the public toilet.
19steva7918/08/2024Ottimo posto per passare la notte. Piccolo parcheggio senza stalli segnati. Poche macchine. Ai bordi di un bel parco dove la gente locale passeggia con i bambini o con i cani. Riparato dal vento.

Buen lugar y prácticamente llano. Muy frecuentado durante el día y apenas nadie ne la noche. Bonitas vistas y paseo a un parque muy concurrido. El pueblo queda a 10 minutos a pie, más o menos. Sin servicios, solo papeleras.

Très bel endroit. Petit parking au bord de la rivière qui se jette dans l’estuaire Lough Swilly. Des marcheurs le matin c’est tout. Super !!!
FMLD30/05/2024L'endroit probablement le plus joli pour passer la nuit depuis notre arrivée en Irlande !!! Calme,pas de services,gratuit... Convient tout à fait aux camping cars. A 5 minutes à pied du centre ville.

Great park up beside the river. Toilets nearby at the angling centre. Busy during the day with walkers but very quiet at night. Lovely walks along Lough Swilly shoreline and around Swan Park..

Stayed here for 1 night, great spot, quiet at night and lovely walk the next morning around the adjacent Swan Park which was beautiful and also interesting to read of the connection of John Newton to Buncrana at the Amazing Grace viewpoint nearby.
