Cantu U Ciumi : Maison éco-responsable. Vous pouvez camper avec votre propre tente ou une tente déjà montée (matelas et couvertures fournis). Un parking est disponible pour les camping-cars et les fourgons (6 m max.). Vous trouverez sur place une cuisine extérieure entièrement équipée, l'électricité, un barbecue, un foyer, de l'eau potable, une douche extérieure et des toilettes sèches. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement accueillants. Vous pouvez prendre vos repas individuellement ou les partager.
Le chemin d'accès est très étroit et bordé de branches qui peuvent abîmer les fenêtres et le toit. Il est déconseillé aux véhicules de plus de 3 m de hauteur.
Les chiens sont en liberté.
Cantu U Ciumi: Eco-project house. Camping in your own tent or one already set up, with mattresses and blankets provided. Parking is available for campervans and vans (max. 6 m). There is an outdoor kitchen with all necessary equipment, electricity, a grill, a fire pit, drinking water, an outdoor shower, and a composting toilet. The owners are extremely hospitable. You can eat meals independently or share them.
The access road is very narrow, with overhanging branches that can scratch the windows and roof. It is not suitable for vehicles over 3 m in height.
Dogs roam freely.
Cantu U Ciumi: Öko-Projekthaus. Camping im eigenen oder bereits aufgebauten Zelt und mit Matratzen und Decken. Möglichkeit zum Parken von Wohnmobilen und Transportern auf dem Gelände (max. 6 m). Es gibt eine Außenküche mit allem, Strom, Grill, Feuerplatz, Trinkwasser, Außendusche und Komposttoilette. Äußerst gastfreundliche Besitzer. Sie können die Mahlzeiten unabhängig einnehmen oder mit ihnen teilen.
Zufahrt sehr schmal, mit hinein hängenden Ästen die Fenster und Dach verkratzen können. Nicht für Mobile über 3m Höhe geeignet.
Hunde laufen frei herum.

C'è una cucina esterna con tutte le attrezzature necessarie, elettricità, un barbecue, un braciere, acqua potabile, una doccia esterna e una toilette a compostaggio. I proprietari sono estremamente ospitali. È possibile consumare i pasti in autonomia o in condivisione.
La strada di accesso è molto stretta, con rami sporgenti che possono graffiare finestre e tetto. Non è adatta a veicoli di altezza superiore a 3 m.
I cani sono ammessi liberamente.

Wir haben uns bei Chiara und Fabrizio im großen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt, wo Hühner + vier liebe Hunde herumlaufen, mit fantastischem Blick auf den Ätna. Haben die Ruhe und Natur sehr genossen. Kompostklo + Außendusche waren super - wir wurden am letzten Abend zum Abendessen mit der Familie eingeladen und haben Tips für Ätna-Tour (Nord) sowie neues eigenes Olivenöl mitgenommen! Ottimo posto per visitare la valle dell' Alcantara e godersi un po' di tranquillità. Il fiume è proprio a due passi. I servizi sono come descritti e ci sono molti spazi dove rilassarsi all' ombra. Chiara e Fabrizio sono sempre disponibili e aiutano a scoprire la zona. Ci sono anche un sacco di prodotti homemade che consigliamo di provare.indicato anche per le famiglie e per chi ha animali.
Posto molto ospitale, host locali estremamente gentili e disponibili pronti a dare informazioni e consigli sui dintorni. C'è una cucina esterna ben attrezzata e possibilità di usare anche il bbq. L'accesso al fiume a 1 minuto a piedi é meraviglioso e tranquillo. Con 5€ abbiamo potuto fare anche una lavatrice. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, molto consigliato anche per famiglie!
Posto bellissimo! Gente veramente ospitale, ci hanno riempito di buoni consigli per il nostro viaggio in Sicilia. Ci sono dei cani e dei gatti di casa buonissimi. Possibilità di usare cucina, doccia, bagno e anche la lavatrice! Consigliatissimo
not worth the roads to get to it
Really friendly hosts and a nice place to see the etna. also really next to the river which is cool for hiking! the campsite has basic facilities (cold showers, compost toilets and a kitchen area). I think it's still work in progress but lots of potential and a nice place to stay. 4 big lovely dogs come with the package
What a beautiful place! Chiara, the owner, was so kind! We stayed three days because we felt like home. Important, you need to love basic camping! And its more a place for small campers or tent. We really enoyed the silence, nature en town close by. We were with our baby. The owners also have a child so that was very nice! We will come back one day. Thankyou Chiara for your energy and hospitality.
Basic as described but great location, people, dogs and you can’t beat the contribution they’re asking. (Not sure which world the 2 star French review lives…)
une personne très accueillante mais un endroit à l'abandon où l'on paye bien trop cher pour simplement pouvoir prendre une douche très froide. il y a juste à côté de très beaux endroits pour le même prix.
Eco-progetto a conduzione familiare dove é possibile pernottare con piccoli camper o van e caravan. Possibilità di mettere la propria tenda nel Meleto o usufruire della Bell tend. A disposizione degli ospiti cucina esterna con acqua potabile, elettricità, stoviglie, gas, frigo, area BBQ e fuoco. Compost toilet e doccia esterna (acqua a temperatura ambiente). A 2 passi dal fiume (piccole gole).
I had a very nice stay with the family and the young volunteers, I even got invited for dinner! The current contribution is 10€ but you ought to give more. There is water (tasty) right nex to the van place, you need a longer cord for electricity. There are more Eco communities in the area, just ask the owners :)
Small starting eco-project. Expect limited places, very basic facilities, but with a beautiful (swimmable) river right behind their land. Great area to be in for cycling, exploring and wine. The small villages surrounding it are lovely. Very nice family (cute dog). Great English. Looking forward to see what they will do in the next years.
