We travelled from Scotland and arrived to receive a warm welcome. we enjoyed a quiet night's sleep before heading to the Euro tunnel only 30 min away. I would highly recommend this stop over, and we hope to come back again. many thanks.

En absolutlig varm velkomst fra værterne. Kan på det kraftigste anbefale denne skønne have/park. Dejlige rolige omgivelser med udsigt til åbne marker. Af og til kommer der et tog, men det forstyrrer minimalt, alt taget i betragtning bliver det undertrykt af omgivelserne.

C'est un endroit merveilleux en pleine nature avec de magnifiques vues et l'ancien train qui passe ajoute au charme du lieu. Katy est vraiment très accueillante et gentille. Quel bonheur de trouver un lieu comme celui-là lorsque c'est si difficile de trouver des jolis spots nature où l'on ait le droit de se garer en Angleterre et en Ecosse. Vraiment charmant et reposant, un appel à la sérénité...

Fantastic stopover! Lovely, quiet, safe and friendly site. Good access down wide lanes and gated access to immaculate camping field. We arrived at 9:30pm and this wasn’t a problem. Owner just came out in the morning to collect £10 for family of 4 with 2 dogs.

Bon i precios lloc per pasar la nit. No n'hi ha serveis extra, pero lloc molt tranquil. L'únic soroll es el tren que passa a prop, i s'escolta. Els nens es van poder entetindre jugant a la gespa preciosa. Vam poder descansar sense problemes. Si cal, i tornarem.

A lovely site just outside Ashford and with an easy connection to the M20 Euro Tunnel and Dover Docks. Water pick up, but no toilet emptying facilities. Met Mum and Dad. Lovely people.

TOP! Wir haben hier für einen Zwischenstop übernachtet. Gut 30 min von der Fähre Dover entfernt. Katy hat schnell auf die SMS geantwortet und und herzlich empfangen. Ein riesiger und schöner Garten mit Sonnen- und Schattenplätze. 10£ für eine Nacht. Stand Juli 2025: nur Barzahlung möglich. Hunde sind willkommen. Auf unserer Rückfahrt werden wir hier wieder übernachten. Danke Katy.

We spend a lovely night in Katy‘s camping space. It has a great view on the neighboring fields and Katy was very friendly. We send a text before arriving and got she got back to us very fast. We were also able to fill up our water there. There are train tracks going right by the territory but the train barely makes any noice and we didn‘t mind at all. The space also does not have a check out time so we were able to spend a slow morning there. We can only recommend.

Katy is a wonderful, charming and friendly host and the honey is just delicious! We came here by accident, since our ferry was late. It turned out to be the best fate we could have got. What a beautiful space, calm and wide open. Hope we can get back any time soon along our next trip.

Beautiful overnight stay on our way to the Shuttle. Katy was incredibly helpful and allowed us to stay at short notice. Very peaceful night sleep and the surrounding fields were beautiful. We will be retuning on our next trip to Europe.

Fantastischer Platz, schon vorab sehr netter Kontakt mit Katy. Wir fühlen uns so wohl, dass wir bestimmt auf der Rückreise wiederkommen. Es ist der perfekte Stop nach oder vor der Kanalüberquerung!

Beautiful stopover en route to Dover ferry terminal. Very welcoming and had a great night's sleep. Lots of room on the camping field! Arriving: as you turn onto the lane and go over the railway bridge, it's the first left after this, plenty of room for our 6m motorhome to make the turn onto the field. Katy's Mum greeted us upon arrival. Payment = £15 cash. Prebooked by text. Will stay here again.

Very friendly hostess and plenty of room for a larger rig (11m). The roads leading to it are a little narrow, but nothing unusual for rural roads in the UK. The left turn into the farm is an acute turn so a larger rig will have to make a 3 point turn, but it's not a busy road so it's easy. The city (Ashford) and stores are about 5 minutes away if you have a motorcycle or scooter.

Zeer goede en mooie plaats. Rustig gelegen en op 30min van Dover.

Peaceful and spacious environment, vast sky and field all around. I had to arrive past 10:30PM due to my work schedule. Katy is very nice and accommodating, she waited up for me, bless her. Highly recommended!

the place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and very kind owners. The train passes close by but does not disturb. We stopped before catching the ferry to Dover (about 1 hour). When you arrive there are signs indicating that the road is not suitable for vehicles more than 2 meters wide but we passed easily (2.40 m).

Great stop over before catching an early morning Ferry. Fantastic owners and much better than staying in some random lay-by

We had a fantastic stay. The location is lovely and very quiet. Katy and her parents were so friendly and forthcoming and we and our two dogs felt very welcome and at home. We had long chats with all of them, they’re just lovely people <3 This place was perfect for us since we generally love wild camping and avoid crowded campsites. We will be back :)

Cadre idyllique, calme, accueil sympa

Great welcome, lovely view over fields at the back. Only 20 min to Le shuttle boarding. 2km walk to the pub Swan and dog. Julie (mum) was fantastic, seems to help travellers with multiple motor home difficulties with the help of her husband mechanic. I will return for the next European trip!

We have two peaceful nights before take ferry. Owner is very nice and we will come back again.

Perfect stop for those travelling to or from Dover. After 9 months of travelling around Europe this was one of our absolute favourite stops. Beautiful scenery and surroundings. Katy and her family are amazing and welcoming (including Katy's lovely Mum). We look forward to visiting again! Truly relaxing surrounded by absolute beauty!

Een heerlijke plek om een paar dagen uit te rusten. Water beschikbaar. Vriendelijke ontvangst en erg hulpvaardig. Ruime fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. We zullen graag terugkomen.

Na delay bij de tunnel zochten we een plek om te overnachten en deze gevonden. De ouders van Katy kwamen voor ontvangst en praatje maken. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. In de ochtend nog wat tips voor de route richting Schotland gekregen. Fijne plek voor of na de tunnel om te overnachten

Fantastisch freundlicher Empfang .. sehr gepflegter Garten mit englischer Golfer rasen … Bahn neben an aber stört nicht. Perfekt für eine Übernahme vor oder nach dem Eurotunnel ..

We had such a wonderful time here, what a slice of heaven! The property is gorgeous, idyllic and Katy is warm and accommodating. The meadow is peaceful, spacious with level ground, and with a public foot path close by, we were able to enjoy a beautiful morning hike through the countryside. This place is a real gem! We had such a lovely time that we stayed an extra night. Highly recommend!
