Schöner Stellplatz auf einem befestigten Parkplatz an dem Löwenmonument, welches schon sehenswert ist. Es handelt sich um ein imposantes Grabdenkmal in Chaironeia, Böotien, das den in der Schlacht von Chaironeia 338 v. Chr. gefallenen thebanischen Hierolochiten gewidmet ist. Der Platz befindet sich zwar neben einer Straße, die aber nicht stark befahren ist.
Το πάρκινγκ είναι επίπεδο, ήσυχο, ασφαλές τη νύχτα και διαθέτει φωτισμό και κάδο σκουπιδιών. Αρκετά σκουπίδια γύρω.
Good place to spend the night. It's lit and feels safe, except for a creepy loud bell sound walking around at night which made the dogs around to bark all night.
Convenient for a night's stopover and to visit the statue (large) and museum (small but well worth it at €2 entry out of season). The parking is level and only a few cars parking for the little bar on a Friday as Saturday evening but no noise or hassle at all. Small supermarket etc 5 mins walk. A couple of local dogs but they come or go according to your wishes.

really good place to stay for night, calm and quiet, little barking of dogs, 2 big places were ocupated by agricultural machines/tractors, but one was free, enough space for pickup Caravan. no problem for kamper. In the morning noisy, tractors go to work. The Grass has an automatic "shower" during night, close the windows. breakfast with beautiful view for the ancient Lion. highly recommend place
Parking is good but too many stray dogs. Around 20 normal size parking slots and 5 bigger bus sized parking slots. Woke up from unexpected rain at night. But realized it was an automatic grass watering system that hits the car if you park too close to the grass.
Prima plaats, af en toe kwamen er wat locals af en aan rijden. 's Nachts redelijk rustig, lekker geslapen. Veilig gevoel.
Enfrente del museo arqueológico y la estatua del león, parking. No hay señales. Pernocta posible, vecinos amables. Hay perros callejeros que ladran a veces, pero en general tranquilo. Si veis algún cachorro de unos 3/4 meses, cabeza blanquita y un ojo de cada color, dadle mimos, es una preciosidad.
joli petit parking. il y a un musée.... dommage il est fermé le mardi . il y a aussi un théâtre antique un peu à l abandon.
we just stopped for a lunch stop en route to Athens but it was fine, ample parking and there is a little children's park (a bit run down) and cafe across the road
