Nice paved car park, flat, large, no height barriers, no “no overnight” signs, free after 6pm but also 2 hrs free in the day time so effectively free from 4pm with the free ticket from machine. If staying all day pay at machine or ringing app. Very quiet, not particularly picturesque but pleasant enough. Shops nearby, good phone / WiFi signal.
Stayed overnight 1st April in this peaceful carpark on a housing estate with close links to the motorway. Took an evening stroll around the wetlands which are only 5-min walk away, saw plethora of waterfowl and being dusk enjoyed wonderful birdsong only slightly marred by traffic noise
stayed one night on the 21st February 2026.. what a great stop off the M42. quiet and great for dogs. clean and definitely be back..
I was happy with my nights stay, wasn’t disturbed at all, left in peace, would be happy to return, chippy round the corner to fill my tummy so I was happy
nice quiet spot with a great locals pub (The Swan) nearby. No facilities but there's café just around the corner, close to a fuel station and convenience store. 5 minutes walk to the waterpark and rivers. Very scenic :)
quiet night, a few cars of younger folk until about 9 they were quiet and respectful. pretty good 4g on Vodafone and full 4g on EE normally in a rural area I wouldn't add this but Vodafone only just had enough to stream.
Very quiet and safe feel. On a slight slope but OK right at bottom of car park. 2 hours free parking so free from 6pm to 10am inc those 2 hrs.
working in the area, stayed here last night with no issues. area is lit well and after 9pm was very very quiet.
Nous avons passé une mauvaise nuit des jeunes ont fait beaucoup de bruit jusqu’à 2 heure du matin . C’était vendredi soir on est tolérant mais ils ont pris le parking pour un circuit automobile.
