Ça vaut vraiment le détour, des vues spectaculaires et de nombreuses randonnées à faire. Restez simple et ne déballez pas, etc. . Courte distance à pied de la ville / de la plage, mais raide!

Definitely worth the trip, spectacular views and lots of hiking to do. Keep it simple and don't unpack etc. . Short walk to town/beach, but steep!

Mantenlo simple y no desempaques, etc... Un paseo corto a la ciudad/playa, ¡pero empinado!

Sadly there is now a sign up saying no motorhomes between the hours of 2200 - 0800. Such a shame as loved waking up to that view. Good old Councils !!

Beautiful park-up on the island with lots of space. There are trash cans at the westernmost parking and a public toilet is nearby. When we visited all three parkings were open to campervans for up to 72 hours, this one has the best views and we were lucky to get a gorgeous spot. We’ll happily return someday!

this is my favourite of the three car parks, but only for the view. It seems to be covered by the same rules as the other two i.e. 72 hours maximum stay. My favourite park up in England (so far). Please clear up after yourselves, and maybe do a quick litter pick. There are ample bins that seem to be emptied daily, so there's no excuse for not using them.

Stopped for a picnic and a view back down chesil beach. Well worth the steep drive up. nearby loo at the hotel.

I was at this location last weekend and the sign saying max stay and no overnight parking is no longer there. A number of vehicles were parked up for the entire weekend. Got chatting to one chap who says he goes there regularly and the sign hasn’t been there for some time. Have to say, the views are fantastic

Lovely spot we return to each year. Seems like the council has changed the regulations and it now says no overnighting. On the other hand it has a green circle around a picture of a motorhome and someone parked up here says they’ve been here for three weeks…

no overnights allowed anymore Large sign states this Large boulders scattered in the carparks. We didn't stop

Sadly, a new sign went up this week 6/7/22. Parking is still free during the day, but parking here is only allowed between 6am-9pm. This applies to all vehicles. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.

Good place to stop been 3 times free to park ideal for a motorhome toilets nearby decent walks

  • 5/5

Fantastic stop over, no charges any more, totally free with great views over Weymouth. Plenty of walks with views. Tesco and Lidl a short drive away. There are actually 3 parking areas, all hard standing and flat

Great spot with fantastic views. public toilet within about 200m. Level parking and the end parking area has large capacity bins. Good walks if you have a dog. Does get a little windy. No sign of any charges applying. We shared with 3 other motorhomes and a camper van. There is a petrol station with small shop about 15 minutes walk away. One of our favourites.

What a view. Opened our back campervan doors to this incredible view. Steep climb. Saw the parking attendant in the first car park on way in to pay. £10 8pm - 10am. He was lovely and led us to a great parking space. Easy to park up. Fabulous walks and views - part of the south west coast path, Fancy’s farm where we saw goats, alpacas and wallabies. Open 10:30-4:30 daily. Looks like a bit of history with HM prison the Verne which we thought was an old military building by the path down to town.

Brilliant spot! £10 a bit steep for what's there but the view is stunning
