Fantastique nouveau camping, 5 emplacements en dur avec électricité et de nombreux emplacements en herbe (non électriques). Super bar/restaurant sur place. Actuellement, un porte-clés est nécessaire pour les douches/toilettes, vous payez un acompte de 10 GBP mais vous le récupérez. Gym disponible sur place pour une somme modique aussi. À peu près juste sur le chemin du mur d'Hadrien. Accueil/accueil très sympathique. Nous avons payé 16 £ pour de l'herbe, un terrain non électrique. Nous avons passé un excellent repas au restaurant, tous faits maison (currys, tartes et pizzas fantastiques!). J'y retournerais avec plaisir.
Fantastic new campsite, 5 hard standing electric pitches plus numerous grass (non electric) pitches. Great bar/ restaurant on site. Currently a key fob needed for showers/ toilet, you pay a £10 deposit but get that back. Gym available on site for a small fee too. Pretty much right on Hadrians wall path. Very friendly reception/ welcome. We paid £16 for grass, non elec pitch. Had a great meal in the restaurant, all home cooked (fantastic curries, pies and pizzas!). Would happily return.
Fantastischer neuer Campingplatz, 5 unbefestigte elektrische Stellplätze plus zahlreiche Grasstellplätze (nicht elektrisch). Tolle Bar/Restaurant vor Ort. Derzeit wird ein Schlüsselanhänger für Duschen/Toiletten benötigt, Sie zahlen eine Kaution von £10, bekommen diese aber zurück. Fitnessstudio vor Ort gegen eine kleine Gebühr verfügbar. Ziemlich direkt am Hadrianswallpfad. Sehr freundlicher Empfang/Begrüßung. Wir zahlten 16 für Rasen, nicht Elektrostellplatz. Wir hatten ein tolles Essen im Restaurant, alles hausgemacht (fantastische Currys, Kuchen und Pizzen!). Würde gerne wiederkommen.

Absolute gem in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. We requested a last minute motorhome pitch. The whole place was immaculate. The toilets and showers were spotless. It was so handy having the bistro/pub a few metres walk with a fabulous menu and tasty food. Our dogs were also welcome on lead at the campsite and in the bistro. Very good value for money. We will definitely stay again.
Schön gelegen, sehr ruhig, gut gepflegt! Sanitäre Anlagen sind top. Der Platz selber liegt etwas versteckt, findet man aber. Kleines Restaurant und Bar ist dabei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besten Dank.
Lovely, welcoming owner. Super quiet site—slept really well. Spotless new facilities with great showers. £15 for one person with a roof tent (no power). Highly recommend, but call ahead to check space.
Nous avons été placés pour la nuit sur l'espace de vidange à côté d'un tas de bois faute de place. Pourtant, 2 places sont restées libres toutes la nuit. Les sanitaires sont neufs et bien équipés. Il n'y a pas de quoi poser ses affaires dans la douche. C'est le pire camping de notre voyage au Royaume Uni. Heureusement, il y a un bon pub à côté.
Réservé par téléphone deux heures avant. Accueil sympathique. Impression d’être sur un parking au début, mais ne pas se fier aux apparences, l’endroit est calme, niché au cœur d’un petit village. Encore quelques rénovations à faire. J’ai goûté le délicieux poulet aigre-douce, le fish and chips, chips et délicieux aussi. Pas de wi-fi et signal 4G capricieux, ils n’ont pas encore la wi-fi, d’où les quatre étoiles. Toilettes et douche, tout neuf est impeccable.

Eine wirklich Perle im Nirgendwo. Waschhaus ist nagelneu. Es gibt 5 befestigte und 5 unbefestigte Plätze für Wohnmobile. Eine grössere Fläche für Zelte ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir haben ohne Strom 23£ bezahlt. Für das gebotene gerechtfertigt. Bezahlt wird in der Kneipe gegenüber.
Ein neuer Stellplatz für 5 Womo mit allem was benötigt wird .
Great facilities and friendly staff. 5 hardstanding pitches, new loos, showers and washing up.The name of the campsite is not as listed here. We drove past it, asked a local who had never heard of it, decided to ask in the visitors' centre and found that was the campsite, called Hunter's. A case of easy to find when you already know where it is!No village shop so make sure you are stocked up.
Kleiner aber feine Campingplatz. Sanitärgebäude nagelneu. Waschmaschine, Trockner, alles vorhanden. NICHT barrierefrei! Deshalb ein Punkt Abzug. Der Platz an sich schön angelegt. Die Baustelle neben an verunschandelt das Bild etwas. Aber da kann keiner was dafür. Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Personal mega freundlich.
Sehr schöner Stellplatz! Sanitärräume nagelneu, Speisen im anliegenden Restaurant schmackhaft. Kann man nur empfehlen!

Belle trouvaille que ce camping. Belle place pour notre fourgon de 6m. voir au pub pour le reglement. nous avons payé 20 livres pour la nuit. vidange eaux grises et wc possible, recharge en eau aussi. tres sympa
Nice facilities but £30 to stay in a gravel pub car park with EHU is a bit steep! I would recommend avoiding the gravel pitches listed on pitchup. Good location for Hadrians wall path. Good food and drinks. Incidentally if you choose a hard standing pitch you’ll be in an area that is a tarmac car park.
Parked here for 1 night £23 for pitch without electricity nice place to much money take a look at yourself!!!!
Faultless. What a great find! Staff are great, the site is clean, the bar and restaurant are worthy of a visit even if you are not staying here. Only dropped in for the night but will be back next week :-)
