What an amazing location! I arrived around 16h and most spots along the road were taken by the end of the day. At the end of the road is another parking lot, network was slightly better there. Beautiful walk down there too, I saw many deer towards sunset time. I wish I could've spent more nights here.

Super endroit et accessible facilement depuis Newtonmore. Enchaînement de plusieurs places avec très peu de passage. Nous y avons passé une super nuit.

Einfach nur wunderschön! Aus Newtonmore führt ein kleiner Weg hinauf und bietet mit einigem Abstand entlang der Strasse 3-4 Buchten, wo sich jeweils 1-2 Campervans hinstellen können. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal und viele Wanderrouten sind hier fussläufig zu erreichen - sowie ein Coop und 2 tolle Cafés in Newtonmore! Einzig das Netz ist hier oben schlecht, daher -1 Punkt

Weinig bereik. Geen sanitair of vuilbakken. Mooi uitzicht. Niet al te veel plaats / sommige stukken modderig. Zeer rustige nacht gehad.

Great views and a peaceful night's sleep very quiet no disturbances no traffic as further on is a dead end that you can park and walk to the bridge over the river and little village for coffee

What a stunning place to stop. The views are breathtaking, who cares if there’s no phone signal, this place offers such a quiet nights sleep you’ll be the most rested traveller. Just be aware it’s very open and could be windy so check the weather first. No issues with mud as it’s a good solid road.

Lovely spot walks on your doorstep, had coffee in the village very friendly place lovely coffee and cake worth a visit it was the only coffee shop open in the winter months

Lovely quiet spot, EE phone signal poor to none in the evening and slightly better in the morning. Went for a beautiful walk along the road which drops down to river and a track away from the river, easy walking. lots of sheep and deer. Very quiet park up.

Fantische plek om te overnachten! Meerdere opties langs de route. Je staat direct aan de weg (geen passing place) maar deze is zeer rustig omdat het geen doorgaande weg is en alleen kampeerders er komen. Plekken deels gras en grind, bij forse regen camper goed positioneren. Heerlijk stille omgeving met soms een brullend hert in de verte. Wandel- en mountainbikeroutes in de omgeving.

Another world, what a special spot, breathtaking views and exciting trails to explore! Lots of lay-bys to choose from, benches in perfect spots too… edit! Spent two nights and highly recommend the Highland folk museum and walking the wildcat trail, perfect place, sorry I have to move on!

Geweldige plek om te wandelen en overnachten. Wat wij dan ook gedaan hebben! Sprookjesachtige omgeving.

de loin le meilleur spot que j'ai fais. effectivement il est pris d'assaut. dès 17h il y avait qql sur place. je me suis garé quelques mètres plus loin sur l'herbe et ça été niquel. pas mal de midges mais rien de génant. des moutons autours, une vue imprenable, et un calme avec le bruit de la rivière au loin. vraiment suprr

Unsere schönste Übernachtung. Sehr einsam, ruhig und eine schöne Aussicht. An der Straße sind einige Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten, wir haben aber niemanden gesehen, außer viele Schafe :) Würden jederzeit wieder hier eine Nacht verbringen und die Wanderungen machen :)

This is our favourite spot in Scotland so far! Stunning vistas, absolute peace and tranquility, great walks, sheep and deer everywhere, walking distance to town if you need it. Locals and farmers are friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Ongelofelijk mooie en rustige locatie tussen de schapen. Prachtig zicht, heerlijke wandeling vlakbij (bv via Komoot). Super! (Ook de camperplekjes vlakbij zijn de moeite waard.)

Amazing views! Had a quiet night. Best camping spot I ever had! Come early, it's a popular place to stay.

Beautiful spot, parking on grass, but quite flat. Nice views, short hike to hill nearby.
