Nous sommes un camping familial à la ferme juste à l'extérieur du petit village de Pleuville dans le département ensoleillé de la Charente dans le sud-ouest de la France.
Notre camping est aménagé pour les tentes, les caravanes et les camping-cars et est fréquemment utilisé comme une escale pour les vacanciers qui se dirigent vers le sud de l'Espagne ainsi que pour ceux qui recherchent une pause tranquille et plus longue loin du brouhaha général de la vie quotidienne. Nous ne sommes qu'à une courte déviation de la piste cyclable suivie par ceux qui se dirigent vers Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle et recevons des invités fréquents suivant la route
We are a family run camping a la ferme just outside the small village of Pleuville in the sunny department of the Charente in South West France.
Our campsite is set up for tents, caravans and camping cars and is frequently used as a stopover for those holiday makers heading south to Spain as well as those looking for a quiet, longer break away from the general hubbub of daily life. We are just a short diversion from the cycling route followed by those heading to Santiago Di Compostella and get frequent guests following the route
Wir sind ein familiengeführter Campingplatz a la ferme etwas außerhalb des kleinen Dorfes Pleuville im sonnigen Departement Charente im Südwesten Frankreichs.
Unser Campingplatz ist für Zelte, Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile ausgelegt und wird häufig als Zwischenstopp für Urlauber auf dem Weg in den Süden Spaniens sowie für diejenigen genutzt, die eine ruhige, längere Auszeit vom allgemeinen Trubel des Alltags suchen. Wir sind nur eine kurze Abzweigung von der Radroute, die von denjenigen genutzt wird, die nach Santiago Di Compostella unterwegs sind, und haben Stammgäste, die dieser Route folgen

Friendly people, a nice rural place BUT - there's animal poop literally everywhere (why not keep a part fenced?) and the toilet and shower are véry dirty (hairs, dirt, poop, many dead flies). We've been there 3 full days and a little bit of cleaning would have done the trick. They took over the bar in the village recently (which they do great) but it's clearly too much running both...
Very nice place and friendly owners ! The area is just perfect. I will stay more than expected to enjoy the area a bit more.
Sehr liebevolles Pärchen. Schöner Aufenthalt mit viel Ruhe und tollen Tieren. Saubere Sanitäranlagen. Unser Sohn durfte auch im Traktor sitzen und die Tiere füttern. Wir waren nur eine Nacht, aber man kann dort gut länger bleiben. Wir danken für den ganz tollen Aufenthalt. Spontan gebucht und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Preis ist top!

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Großer Platz mit Farmtieren. Warme Dusche, Toilette und Abwaschmöglichkeit. Wir hatten zwei schöne Tage.
Wonderful. Welcoming hosts in a beautiful setting.
Wir wollten uns telefonisch ankündigen und wurden schnell zurückgerufen. Super freundlicher Empfang, sogar auf Englisch. Durften uns unseren Platz auf der Wiese selbst aussuchen. Abends kam noch eine kleine neugierige Katze vorbei und hieß uns willkommen. Am Morgen wachten wir mit Vogelgezwitscher, frei laufenden Hühner und Schafe mit ihren herum tobenden Lämmern auf. Können wir nur empfehlen!
What a lovely little stop over! We had a wonderful stay with such friendly hosts. Due to the large amount of rain they allowed us to stay on the gravel by their house. They allowed our children to stroke the lambs and collect eggs from the chickens. We had a wonderful and peaceful night’s sleep. Highly recommended
Zeer rustige en mooie plaats midden in de natuur. Dankjewel voor jullie hulp die we nodig hadden door de onophoudelijke regen en de modder. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Zij verdienen het echt dat er vele mensen komen kamperen!
Ein ruhiger Ort irgendwo im nirgendwo. Telefonisch hatte ich mich ein paar Stunden zuvor angemeldet und wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Eine heiße Dusche und eine entspannte Nacht haben meinen Aufenthalt auf dem Hof positiv geprägt. Sehr gerne komme ich wieder vorbei. Danke!!
We had another wonderful relaxing 4 days stay here. Owners Sarah & James lovely hosts, invited us for dinner one night with their friends, curry's were stop on. Highly recommend this place, for a quite get away to recharge your battery's, great for stargazing at night, no light pollution and wildlife. Lovely walks & bike rides in the surrounding areas and villages. Thanks love Sarah & John xxxx
Fabulous and friendly. Wide open freshly mown flat parking field. Park where you like, picnic table. Lots of hot water in the shower and washing up sink, very peaceful indeed. Many thanks to Sarah for a super stay.
Merci beaucoup à Sarah et James pour leur chaleureux accueil. Ils sont toujours aussi agréable, gentil et souriant L'endroit est calme et ombragé. C'est super. Nous aimons nous y arrêter et rester qques jours, très agréable coin, belles randonnées à faire. On y vient depuis 2 ans et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
Great quiet stay en route to the south. When we arrived with our van we where the only ones on the whole plot. Big spacious field with electricity hook ups. Later that night another tent arrived. Amazing view of the stars and milkyway at night. There where quite a lot of flies during the afternoon but they disappeared once it went dark. Highly recommend!
Bon accueil, même à 20h30. Grand terrain avec table de pic nique. Les poussins et les poules au reveil. Étape sympa avec douche sur un grand trajet.
Accueil charmant, parlent très bien le français, camping style camping à la ferme (poules, vaches, lapins…) très propre, très calme. Nous étions seul ce 26 août et ils méritent bien mieux que cela.. vaut le detour
