Noticed the sign on the way to Keem. Was going to stay off grid but was very windy. Arrived to be greeted by the lovely owner Marie. Enjoyed a few pints before having a peaceful night. Awoke the next morning to mechanical issues. Starting motor had failed (was on the way out). Thankfully Marie’s son Stephen is a mechanic and was able to fix it. Was really blessed. Thanks again Marie and Stephen!!
Lovely friendly owner. Short walk into town. Had a brilliant night at the local pub. Extremely quiet and peaceful aire and very good price at only €15 a night.
A large flat parade-ground of a campsite for motorhomes. Marie is a diamond; she showed us the facilities and we used them all! We felt we got good value for our money. We enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep.

Sehr ruhiger und großzügiger Platz, wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und uns die Ver u. Entsorgung erklärt. Toilette und Waschbecken rund um die Uhr nutzbar, Duschen kosten extra. Die Sanitäre Anlage ist schon etwas älter aber definitiv sauber. Gute Tipps für die Umgebung gibt es inklusive.
Très tranquille mi août nous étions 3 camping cars. Tous services disponibles, Mary la propriétaire sympathique et très prévenante. Une bonne adresse.

We loved this place. Water supply was intermittent because of low pressure tanks not able to deal with demand. Stuff happens! The facilities (particularly kitchen area) and the wit and charm of the owners more than made up for it. Short walk into town. I recommend a walk over to Cashel. It was beautiful. I encountered two peat cutters across 10k. Beautiful solitude.

Siamo passati questa mattina perché avevamo bisogno di scaricare. La signora che ci ha gentilmente accolto ci ha permesso di effettuare carico e scarico (nere e grigie) per € 10. Ringraziamo la signora per la cortesia.

Le site peut accueillir 25 véhicules avec énormément d'espace. Tous les services sont accessibles comme indiqué dans les autres avis. Le tarif est de 20 euros la nuit avec électricité ce qui est très raisonnable compte tenu des tarifs prohibitifs déjà vus. Très bon point de départ pour des circuits en vélo.
We arrived at lunchtime, parked up & then took the bikes along the Greenway as far as Mulranny. Very beautiful. We enjoyed a full Irish breakfast brought to us in our motorhome, quite a novelty but a very good breakfast notwithstanding the novelty factor.
Good stop to stay : we paid 15 euros for 1 night without electrify and 20 euros for the night with electricity (showers and Landry in addition). That was to recharge our bikes. We cycled the 44 km to Westport. We recommend strongly to do it but you also can stop at Newport since the landscapes to Westport are less interesting.

A friendly greeting from the owner, explained where everything was and where was good to visit, good location, pub and restaurant near by, was very dark so if you pop to pub and return in the dark take a torch or phone. all good,.would recommend
Stayed here for 3 nights in February. Very friendly welcome from the owner. Electric hook up, grey and black waste disposal and water. Showers available at extra cost. Washing , €5 for the wash and €5 for the dryer. We also had a delicious cooked breakfast one morning which was brought to the kitchen room. Easy walk to a pub, takeaway and cafe , all providing a friendly service.

I had this fine big site to myself on a very wet and cold wintery night. Sheltered site great base to tour Achill Island. Very friendly and welcoming lady greeted us on arrival. Great value €20 which included the EHU.
War Ende Oktober mit Wohnmbil unterwegs, Schwarzwasserentsorgung war äußerst schwer, da es sowas öffentlich nicht gibt und die Campingplätze meist kein Betrieb mehr hattense. Für 10 Euro konnte ich Schwarzwasser, Grauwasser entsorgen!!! Sehr nette Leute!!!
This was a great place to stay the owners are so freindly and helpful they have all the services lovely hot showers honestly we stayed there from a sunday to a wednesday it was so quiet and peaceful .There was myself my wife two kids and our dog 26 euro electricity included per night we highly recomend hy breasel .
This is extremely helpful spot on the map to get your services sorted I wish there was more spots like this and I’d like to thank the owner for having the ability to Service motorhomes it has water toilet grey waste and electricity all at hand and the area is flat. you stay the night you have the option of showers services are 10 euro.

The friendliest welcome we’ve ever had in our 3 weeks of touring Ireland the lady had such a sense of humor, a true star. After the touring the whole of Achill we decided this was the best place to spend the night,Very reasonably priced, great hot showers and toilet plus kitchen and laundry. Lovely sunny safe pitch, chose your own space. €25 inc shower, electric for 2 people. Thank you.
Marie was very friendly and full of information for our two night stay. The facilities are sound and clean. We washed our linen and Marie suggested to hang it on the line rather than tumble dry it. We enjoyed being there and would recommend this spot as it is much cheaper than the other two campsites on the island.

Dat kon niet volgens de man, hoe kwamen we dan aan water hadden we ergens gestolen. Zeer onaardig stuurde hij ons weg. Gooi je wc maar leeg waar je jou water hebt gestolen. Plek vermijden

2 adultos y 2 niñas menores de 13 años = 21€ (15 2x3) Tiene incluida la pernocta y servicios básicos de agua y descarga. Llegamos sobre las 20:30h y la dueña nos dijo que teníamos que irnos a las 12am. En definitiva, no pudimos hacer la vía Verde con las niñas porque no nos daba tiempo a volver a tiempo. Podría hacer dejado 24h y no actuar como un hotel. En el área solo estrenamos 3 autocaravanas

Stayed two nights here but the weather closed in and a major road on Achill was closed which limited our ability to see a lot more. What we saw was beautiful! Martin offers Irish Breakfast to the camper van visitors as well as the B&B guests. Good value and well presented site.

Ideal location with all the services you require. Only 5 mins from shops, pubs and assorted other facilities and a reasonable view of the bay from some of the pitches However they need to up there game, €2.5 per shower in a grubby cubicle that doesn't even have a door is a tad unreasonable

Le tarif est de 20€ avec l'électricité par nuit, nous sommes restés 2 nuits, 40€ c'est cher. Les douches sont en supplément. Nous avons parcouru Achille Island en vélo, c'était une très belle journée.

Großer und weitläufiger Caravan-Platz, sanitäre Einrichtungen etwas windschief bzw. in die Jahre gekommen, werden aber regelmäßig gesäubert. Gute Lage im Ort, fußläufig zum Wasser, Pub, Supermarkt und mehreren Restaurants. Frühstück im BnB liebevoll hergerichtet, reichhaltig (Full Irish breakfast und eine Auswahl an Joghurt/Obst etc.). Besitzerin sehr freundlich.
What a brilliant Aire! Run by a lovely lady, nice quiet night with views across the Achill sound and a heated toilet block including excellent showers. We paid 16 Euro for the night, which included grey and black water and fresh water services, two people and two showers. Excellent value for money, nice pub in walking distance. We will return as it’s a wonderful base for exploring Achill Island!

Stayed 1 night €10 for overnight large tag axle, friendly owner but not much else. Work in progress really, 1min walk down to local shops, cafe, pub. We didn't use the showers or toilets no heating cold rooms but viewed. I did ask how much to just dump waste etc it's €10 which is overly expensive compared to mainland European campsites. Cash only.
Used for ease. We wanted to empty our black waste. The charge was €10 for servicing or €12 to park up overnight with services, so we paid €12 in the morning, explored the island the returned late to park and sleep. Quiet and very like a European aire. Plenty of space but unscenic. Very handy.
Uncomplicated. We were able to fill water, dump gray water, use the trash bin and toilet for 10€. Ok since there are not many other options around. Showers cannot be used if you don’t stay overnight.

Great value. showers are really hot and perfect after a long day. we got Motorhome with electric hook up for 4 of us, plus showers for €32. waste disposal, grey waste disposal and fresh water available too. host came to chat and to see us off which was lovely

Nous venons d’arriver et devions rester une nuit, je pense maintenant y rester au moins deux. Aire très propre et très bien installé prix très raisonnable 20€ pour le camping car et deux personnes avec toutes les commodités. Allées et emplacements neufs , graviers. Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique. Des aires comme celui-ci manquent cruellement en Irlande , car quel pays magnifique
This aire is well laid out and spacious. The hosts are very friendly, the services are all there and easy to use. There’s a block with toilets and showers one side, laundry and a kitchen/leisure room the other. It cost €12 without EHU, plus 2 for each shower. Shower cubicles are open with curtains which some might find disconcerting, but the showers are excellent. Recommended.

Visited in November 2021 for use of services only. Great quality facilities including black, gray and fresh water. €5 for fresh water and grey water drain, or €10 for use of black water as well. Recommended! Lovely scenery too if you did stay the night.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr nette Leute. Übernachtung für 10,- / Duschen für zwei Pers. je 2,- / Wäsche waschen plus trocknen 6,-. Wir haben uns am nächsten Morgen noch ein Frühstück ( 7,50 € pro Person ) gegönnt. Wurde ans Auto gebracht und war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Wir eürfe wiederkommen.

Great family run campervan site. water, toilets, shower facilities, laundry and communal cooking area. 10e to stay, 3e electricity, 2e showers and 3e for laundry. Drainage facilities as well. well sheltered and and short walking distance to the village.

BETTER THAN A CARAVAN PARK. Thanks Marie for your wonderful hospitality. The common room with TV lounge and kitchen was a welcome relief for my family who had been stuck in the rain in our van. A warm shower was important for us and there are 5 here at ‘Hy Breasal’ B&B. There’s grey water and chemical toilet disposal. Drinking water refill, electrical hook up points for about 12 vans. The area is flat and has a lovely view of the water and country side. You can also use the modern washer and dryer if you opt for 20€ all inclusive rate.
Accueil sympathique. Je confirme les tarifs ce début de 2019. Il y a toutes les commodités : vidange et nettoyage wc chimique, vidange eaux grises et point remplissage eau potable. Sanitaires et possibilité de lessive. Et cerise sur le pudding, possibilité de prendre un iris breakfast moyennant 7 €.
Was very lucky to find a place with power and shower as lot of camping sites were closed for the season. The host was very helpful and kind. Nice hot shower. very clean facilities.

Friendly welcome and ideal stopover if you plan on using bikes around the island or on the local Greenway cycle path which starts on the mainland side of the island bridge. All the essential continental aire type services offered including cassette disposal and for and for an extra €7 nightly you have access to the shower/toilet block, the fully fitted kitchen complete with dining table, TV lounge with comfortable sofas and laundering facilities. Standard €10 per night plus €3 for electric. Ideal stopover for camper van users who require a bit more in the way of home comforts every so often. Facilities if required better than local campsites that charge more!
