Tout s'est bien passé. On m'a indiqué d'attendre 18h pour le tarif de nuit à 12 £ (tarif 2026). Camping agréable et plat. Je recommande le restaurant Chinese Garden en haut de la ville. Spécial. Le menu à 61 £ pour 2 personnes peut paraître cher, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Un repas copieux, largement suffisant pour 4. Sans hésiter. 5 étoiles.

Really helpful carpark assistant from Arundel Castle who explained everything and how he will always try and accommodate campervans and motothomes. Prices just gone up to £12/ night (6pm to 8am). Note: height restriction is in place in winter 5pm to 8am. Plenty of eateries in town and had good meal at Red Lion: generous portions. Public toilets available during day only, , no other facilities
There is a phone number on the big blue sign . Call to get permission ( not clear if this is 24 hour or what you should do if nobody answers the phone) . The charge for parking overnight is £10 . ( August 2025 ) payment at the machine . Photos on google maps.
Stayed here on a Saturday night in August. Arrived at 1400 and drove through a the busy overflow carpark. Grass, flat campervan parking was very clearly marked with about 15 other motorhomes already there. Used the Sippi parking app to initially book the 4 hours (car) upto 1800 and then the same app (coach) for the £10 overnight charge. Make sure you do this after 1800. Very quiet night. Good data
Toller und günstiger Stellplatz für die Nacht, wenn man Folgendes beachtet: wenn man vor 18 Uhr ankommt und übernachten möchte: unbedingt anrufen bei der angegebenen Nr. und ein normales Ticket buchen bis 18 Uhr. Auf keinen Fall vor 18 Uhr ein Coaches-Ticket buchen mit der Spezial-Taste. Sonst hat man 10£ in den Sand gesetzt. Bis 18 Uhr warten und dann das Coaches Ticket buchen.
Great enlightened car park. Attendant is very friendly. Beware when we were there phone signal was good but 4g data nonexistent.

15 x die Nummer angerufen und niemand hat sich gemeldet. Also sind wir vor 6 hingefahren und haben am Automaten £10,- für die Nacht bezahlt. Das geht erst um 6, keine Minute früher, man muss aber früher kommen, weil um 6 der Höhenbalken geschlossen wird. WC bis 8 Uhr offen. Netter Ort, schönes Schloss. Wir waren froh über den ruhigen, schönen Platz.

Couldn’t work out how to pay by machine as we arrived about 3pm. Used app and got a full 24hrs for £10. Excellent value, loads of space. Arundel is a quaint town with good pubs and cafe’s. Toilets open during the day. Be aware the parking is not available at weekends during the football season. Bins available at museum.
Das ist eine unkomplizierte Handhabung der Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Man zahlt 10 Pd für die Nacht, der Parkplatz ist von 18:00 Uhr abends bis 8:00 Uhr früh geschlossen, man muss also vorher da sein. Der Parkwächter muss vorher telefonisch um Erlaubnis gefragt werden, der ist aber super nett.
Called up for permission first and paid £10 at the machine. Really lovely, quiet and flat. Arundel town just minutes walk away with many pubs restaurants and little shops. Surrounded by amazing walks and scenery. Other campers there to, overall really worth it

Vlakbij het centrum, kasteel en pubs. voldoende restaurants op wandelafstand. niks op aan te merken, veilig, rustig en vlakbij de A27. perfecte plaats!
Very good parking area for the town. Need to arrive before 6pm and ring the caretaker for access. clean toilets in the carpark. recommended. £10 overnight . We are the only Campervan here tonight. Good pubs very nearby. Choice of grass or gravel all flat. If only this enlightened attitude was more common. Has to be said this is a private carpark, shows what can be done if the will is there.
Waren heute beim Schloss Arundel und wollten dort parken/übernachten! Höchenbeschränkung war geschlossen! Habe dann bei Parkwächter angerufen. Dieser teilte uns mit, dass sie die Zufahrt für WoMo aus Sicherheitsgründen kurzfristig beschränken mussten! Er hofft aber, dass die Beschränkung wieder aufgehoben wird! Wir sind dann zu Ship and Anchor (6Min) weitergefahren!
Parked here from 12pm for 24hrs only cost £10. Felt safe, as said previously the height barriers are closed after 6pm then reopened at 8am. You have to call and get permission to park overnight and give your registration number, its also worth noting the machine to pay is very hard to use so I recommend using the App and pay as coach parking.
Es ist alles so wie in der Beschreibung. Wir würden von einem freundlichen Platzwart begrüßt und in den Teil für Wohnmobile geleitet und hatten freie Wahl des Platzes. Am Tag bezahlt man die normale Parkgebühr von max. 5£ und ab 18 Uhr über den gelben Button die Übernachtungsgebühr von 10£. Ab 18 Uhr werden die Tore geschossen und ab 8 Uhr wieder geöffnet.
8th March and the barriers are still there this Saturday, so not even daytime parking. Parkopedia says 2.10 height restriction so could be permanent?
Great place to visit Arundel, excellent Italian restaurant in the high street. Easy to pay by machine £10 for the night. Just one word of warning keep your eye on your camper as mine had the n/s door pillar dented in three place by some lovely person.
Perfect stop to visit pretty town and great castle. Paid £10 at machine for overnight parking and also used the Sippi app to top up for day time parking. It is what it is a carpark, with 3 areas. 1st tarmarc where coaches/cars park, second gravel and third grass where they prefer MHs to park. Very peaceful night. Height barriers closed at 6pm and open again at 8am. Public toilets at entrance.
Toilet is closet at 6 PM, after 8 PM parking is closet, you can't go in and out.

Direkt an so einer tollen Burg zu übernachten ist schon etwas besonders. Der Preis von 10£ pro Nacht ist OK und bis auf die aktuelle Baustelle ist es auch sehr ruhig. Zu beachten ist, dass die öffentlichen Toiletten zwischen 8pm und 8am verschlossen sind.
Wir haben hier wunderbar gestanden und geschlafen. Nachts sehr ruhig. Tagsüber voll und eine Baustelle nebenan. Bezahlen per App funktioniert nur mit britischen Kennzeichen. Am Automaten bezahlt man zuerst den Tag und um 18 Uhr 10 £ für die Nacht. Dafür steht man ganz nah an Schloss, Altstadt, Museum und dem Arun mit Cafe. Danke an die Gemeinde für die tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.
Es war 17:58 als wir ankamen,ein älterer Herr war dabei das Tor zu schließen.wir baten freundlich um Einlass,er schloß es vor unserer Nase und sagte : we are closing und meinte wir sollten auf der Strasse parken da ist es kostenlos. So haben wir uns dort eingereiht.jeoch war es teils sehr laut, wenn Autos vorbei rasten. Am Parkplatz der für 10 Pfund, wäre es sicher ruhiger gewesen. Schade.
Day parking from 8am-6pm cost £5. We asked the attendant about overnight and he said an additional £10... As you drive into Mill Road parking, there are a lot of vans parked outside in the lane under trees. inside the car park signs point to the bottom park for motorhomes. You are meant to park in bottom right corner (but we were only told this later). Car park very full 10am-2pm. No services
Ended up here overnight with the permission of the car park attendant. Very friendly chap. Paid £ 5.00 for all day and night till 08:00 am. The attendant asked that I leave by 8:30am. Public toilets nearby. Perfect location for the castle and a walk into town.
Great place, great walks, pubs, castle is interesting if a little pricey, will defo be back.
As other have said excellent location, however the height barrier remains closed weekends and bank holidays, November to March. Otherwise barriers only open 8.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday

We have spent the afternoon walking around the village of Arundel unfortunately unable to tour the castle as our dog, other than assisting, are barred! The Carpark opposite the entrance to the castle.., it has 3 large area’s of which the 3rd and furthest is all grass and level - don’t be put off by the 5 bargate it’s not locked - Daytime £5 (8am - 6pm) & Overnight £10 (6pm-8am) pay at machines!

Super Parkplätze mit Toilette. Macht um 18 Uhr die Schranke (2m Begrenzung) dicht, also frühzeitig überlegen, ob man übernachten möchte. Schön ruhig und direkt in der Stadt

great stopover. nice and peaceful, view of the castle as stated £10 overnight just buy a ticket as a coach if using the app or pay at machine but gate it height restricted promptly at 6pm till 8 am as previously said however a very nice gent did come and make sure we were staying before he locked up which was kind. short 5 mins into town with a coop and a pub to keep you amused into the evening

Day parking: £5 per day. Overnight parking: £10 (press yellow button and enter as ‘Coach’. The meters are disabled between 1800 and 0800, so you need to pay prior to 1800, but the car-park monitors are very reasonable people. If you use JustPark for day parking, set departure time to 17:59. Note that height barriers close at 18:00 and not 18:01. I’ve seen vans having an unplanned overnight!
Stayed in back field for day and night with small camper - was great! Height barrier comes down between 6pm-8am. But you can stay over night. Sign says to ring to get permission, but car park attendant said there's no need. There's option on machine to choose overnight for £10. Really quiet. Toilets were open at 8am-ish but think it varies. Car park backs onto nice river walks.

Nice and quiet ,no car noise its a shame the loos are lock at night. The gates are closed at 6 .The ticket machine does not work as well.
The overnight/camper area was closed. But, it was a useful car park for a day out in Arundel and had free toilets.
