Campingplatz hat eine gute Lage zum wandern. Leider nicht ausreichend warmes Wasser zum duschen und Sanitäranlagen waren sehr einfach und nicht sehr sauber. Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte hier.

View is simply superb. Site has a beautiful layout. Only issue - WiFi doesn't reach the pitches.

Nice little side area which is the CL and shares the same facilities as the main campsite. Toilets and showers not the best but its a busy site. Nice little shop onsite and a few minutes walk to the pub. The CL has a few trees which restricts views of the fells.

Where do I start? This place is divine. Spectacular setting, very friendly site with everything you need. Also had a very nice meal in the pub. I hope I find myself back there again. Perfect.

Stopped here for just to use the services, paid £5 for water fill up, grey water disposal, used the loos and used their laundry room to hand wash clothes. I think it was an extra £5 for showers. Bit cramped and busy but did go on the weekend

Excellent easy online bookin, good facilities easy to get to water and empty waste washing clothes and dryer great but you do have to pay. Pub up the road great just make when you have a beer you book tea

Stayed here end of January 2025. What a site. The views will be hard to beat as well as the services on site. We booked in for dinner at the pub and the food was of high quality. There are some decent walks all around the site. Class place to stay.

Beautiful location. Easy to book. Facilities are a little outdated but well maintained. Decent shop. Friendly staff. Amazing pub with great beer, food & views (make sure to reserve a table). Absolutely stunning location. Decent WiFi in pub or near shop, otherwise no phone signal at all which is pleasant! Great base to hike from!

great location, excellent views of the fells. good facilities, toilets and showers good plus shop and brilliant pub on site. great location to tick off some wainwrights. can't wait to stay again.

We betaalden £27,50 incl. elektra voor 2 personen en een campervan. Vriendelijke vrouw bij de receptie. We verbleven twee nachten en hebben hier ook onze was gedaan. Goede wasmachines en drogers. Bij de vrouwen was de timer van het licht van de wc en douches te kort ingesteld. Erg irritant als je op het toilet zit of in de douche staat. Neem dus een telefoon of zaklamp mee naar het toilet.

Great campsite. Not expensive, inn is small and rebooking only so call ahead or you’ll have to sit outside - shop is good on site small but with. Everything you need. Thoroughly recommend- superb views too.

Superbe camping avec toutes les accommodations nécessaires, une petite superette et même un pub. La vue est splendide et nous avons fait une magnifique randonnée dans les montagnes environnantes.

A very nice campsite with great view. All facilities very good. Only problem was that I did nor get any mobile function.

Sehr schön gelegener Platz mit grandioser Aussicht. Sanitär völlig OK mit heißer Dusche und allem, was man so braucht. Kleines Manko: Der Platz wird gelegentlich auch von Schulklassen als Wanderzeltplatz genutzt, was die Toilettenanlage an ihre natürlichen Grenzen bringt. Da ist etwas „Planung“ beim Dusch- und Toilettengang empfohlen…Ist aber völlig ok und immer noch 5 Sterne wert.

Great little campsite with spacious pitches. We had hard standing EHU pitch without space for an awning (you can choose). Shop, pub and okay toilets/shower facilities. Lots of walks from the door. 4 stars as I’m not sure our EHU was working but hadn’t noticed until we were leaving.

Amazing spot, they have several hardstanding pitches, you must use these as they dont allow even small campers on the grass. All hardstanding pitches are even and have EHU. You are surrounded by mountains on all sides, peaceful site, mostly families and walkers camping. Open fires off the ground are permitted. Good free showers and a well stocked shop. Stayed many times.

Camping avec belle vue, mais comme d’habitude en Angleterre ça reste cher! Point de départ idéal pour les randonnées. Douche pas très chaude et assez sales.

Loved it here. Really helpful staff (froze my ice packs and let me charge things in the laundry room). Lovely views and great pitches. Signal is good but wifi doesn’t reach to pitches. Water available, as well as laundry, showers, and toilets.

360 mountain views. Both high and low level walks from the site. Nice pub right next door. Open throughout the year.

Great facilities: drinking water, showers, toilets, washing/drying machines, indoor sinks for washing up pots. Great location within a valley and it is true only EE has signal, as those of us on O2 and Sky had no signal. Plenty of pitching spots and great hard ground well maintained spaces for park ups. Staff were helpful and attentive wardens checked we got back off our hike safely!
