The good: the reception staff are lovely - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Large camping fields, plenty of space. The bad: despite at least twice daily cleaning, showers and toilets very dirty. A urinal overflowed for 2 days leaving flood on the floor. Chemical disposal blocked (despite having apparently been cleaned that morning) so it was a disgusting open sewer
overpriced and dirty, cobwebs in the shower rooms and black mould in the shower trays which seem to leak , shame because the area is really nice
Second visit to Hurst View, and again not disappointed. I love the fact that you can park anywhere. Showers are hot and powerful. reception staff really friendly. Excellent pub, The Chequers Inn 15 minute walk away. Loads to do from SUPing, walking and cycling, thoroughly recommend Hurst Castle.
Großer Wiesen Platz, wenige Stromplätze, besser vorher buchen. Wir standen ohne Strom auf der Wiese wo wir wollten, recht eben und windig. Toiletten und Duschen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen Erfüllen aber ihren Zweck. Viele Familien mit Kinder hier. Fußweg zum Ort ca. 45 Minuten. Wir haben 10£ pro Person/Übernachtung gezahlt. Das ist Ok.
Very large and busy campsite (but we did go during school summer holidays). We struggled to find a big enough space for our group so it was quite a walk to the toilet blocks. There is direct access to the coastal walk at the back of the campsite, a shop on site and a little cafe for cooked food.
Lage ausserhalb, etwas mehr für Wanderer. Mit dem Rad entlang des Wassers ca. 7km. Es gibt aber einen kürzeren Weg, der nur ca. 5km ins Zentrum Lymington geht. Sanitär eher zum Abgewöhnen, ob da jemals geputzt wird? Große Flächen, zum Teil weit entfernt. Insgesamt sehr verbesserungswürdig. Der Ort Lymington ist nett, man kann auch mit einem Touristenbus eine Rundfahrt durch den New Forest machen.
Schöner Campingplatz mit einer großen Wiese, auf der man sehr viel Platz hat. Saubere Sanitäranlagen. Der Campingplatz ist ein wenig auserhalb des Örtchens, mit dem Fahrrad ist es jedoch kein Problem ihn zu erreichen. 27 Pfund für 3 Erwachsene mit Wohnmobil
Nice site with friendly staff on the edge of a nature reserve. Had a nice grass pitch for my campervan with nobody within 100 meters of me in any direction.
was a decent site. all facilities £40 a night I thought was a bit steep. was woken at 7.15am by kids running about shouting and a dog barking. was quiet enough at night. I wouldn't choose to stay again tbh. very run down shop/cafe on site but looked derelict and wasn't open. was busy considering it was out of season and raining constantly for days.
Camping avec toutes les commodités. Excellent point de départ de balades au milieu de la "Keyhaven and Pennington Marshes Nature Réserve". Vaches et chevaux en liberté et aussi la possibilité d'observer de très nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux. Top !
Prima camping aan een mooi natuurgebied, en met uitzicht op Isle of Wight.
Very nice spot. 10 pounds per person are totally fine. Good facilities and lots of space. 15 min walk to the coast. 15 bike ride to the ferry to the Isle of Wight. Perfect for a stopover.
Endroit paradisiaque avec l’eau la mer l’île de Wight, les oiseaux,….. places immenses et tout bien propre
Guter Platz mit allem, was man braucht. wir mussten waschen, was deutlich teurer war, als der Besitzer angekündigt hatte. statt 7£ für 2 Maschinen und 1x Trockner, haben wir 15£ zahlen müssen. bei kürzeren Programm gehts auch günstiger, aber uns wurde mehrfach gesagt, dass das egal sei
Schöner Camping, Personal sehr nett, bei den Duschen konnte die Wassertemperatur nicht eingestellt werden, war sehr heiss. Wunderschöner Spaziergang mit dem Hund.
Lovely Campsite! Lots of space to choose from for the non electric hook up vehicles. Showers, toilets, sinks to wash up, a cafe for brecky. There is a nice walk where your able to see lots of birds and deers. Definitely recommend staying here.
Plenty of grass pitches, quite busy but loads of room. Can be noisy but nothing you wouldn’t see on a typical family campsite. Toilets and showers available, not the cleanest but with the amount of people there that’s not surprising. Staff and security really friendly.
