Arrived to find that the sign in car park definitely says “penalty charge notice, no overnight sleeping in vehicles or camping”

Although there is a rate for overnighting HGVs it clearly says there are penalties for sleeping in vehicles. No, I don't get it either. Plentiful, central, reasonably priced spot for the day, with toilets.

excellent site. a bit busy early evening as there was a gig on and the canoe club were on the river. however all quiet after 10.30. cost is £10 overnight till 9.am the following morning. frome is also lovely for a walk round lots of food and drink places.
