Sign outside the unmanned reception suggests an overnight parking charge of £8.00. We were charged £25.00 to park in a sloping carpark. For that, you get to park, no facilities at all. Toilets and Showers locked. Only that it was late when we were approached and told we would have to pay another £17.00 on top of the £8 already paid, we would have gone somewhere else. Will not return.

Fabulous spot to access the Mournes but we felt it was over priced! We were charged £25.00 for the parking plus nights stay which is expensive for a carpark with no electricity or toilet emptying or grey water facilities. The back car park is not very is not very level. We would park hear to go walking but not stay for the night! Toilets and showers seemed good and were heated.

Sitting at the edge of the Mournes there are great toilet & shower facilities and a great place to access a number of hiking routes in the hills.
