Abbiamo pernottato la notte del 23 agosto. Campeggio stupendo in una posizione incantevole. Il villaggio è a pochi minuti a piedi. Consiglio l'ottimo fish&chips. Servizi e piazzole perfetti.

lovely site, friendly staff, clean amenities, view of the sea, and so close to everything, just a 2 minute walk to the pub and 10 minutes to crawl back :) absolutely fantastic

Très bon camping, accueil et service irréprochable. Douche bien chaude, spacieuse et très propre. Les emplacements sont assez grands et avec une vue magnifique que la mer. Venteux selon les jours, mais c'est la côte... J'ai bien dormi ! Possibilité de manger au restaurant de l'hôtel "Sea View" à 10 min à pieds.

Pensez à réserver à l'avance sinon vous serez garé devant le camping sur un terrain en pente. Place à 20£ sans les services. Douches et WC gratuits.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, sanitäre Einrichtungen vorbildlich. Restaurants/Pubs gleich nebenan. Direkt am Meer. Wir wollten nur 1 Nacht bleiben, daraus sind dann 4 Nächte geworden. Ein wirklich schöner Campingplatz!!

Was pleasantly surprised by the site. Just stayed the one night to walk out to Duncansby Head and the stacks. Pleasant staff, decent pitches and felt spacious with mix of vans and tents. Facilities were great.

The best toilet and shower facilities on the whole of the nc500. the views are amazing! right next to the john o groats sign post little shops and cafes.

Camping impeccable avec de nouvelles installations. Vue sur mer. Propriétaire tres sympa. Moyen de faire de belles promenades vers le phare et observer des macareux. Idéal pour prendre le ferry vers les Orcades.

Ci siamo stati pensando di trovare il traghetto per le Isole Orcadi ma purtroppo non c'era più. Abbiamo però trovato questo bellissimo campeggio con una splendida vista, zona tranquilla che ho amato molto. merita la camminata fino al faro e da lì fino a Duncansby Stacks, meraviglioso! Campeggio pulito, personale gentilissimo.

Ein wunderschöner Campingplatz direkt am Meer mit viel Platz. Diverse Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Platz. Ein Spaziergang an der Küste entlang zum Leuchtturm ist seht lohnenswert. Einziger Kritikpunkt: es hat nur jeweils 2 Dusche was bei der grösse des Platzes doch recht wenig ist.

Tres beau petit camping tout au bout du pays. Vue sur la mer bien sûr et avec un beau temps c’est splendide. Tout est impeccable et propre.

Perfekter Platz, Imbiss am Hafen sehr lecker. Mit dem Wind muss man sich am Meer einfach abfinden. Dafür bekommt man Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer.

Wir haben hier eine ruhige Nacht verbracht, der Wind geht hier schon ordentlich, man muss sich warm anziehen. Ohne Strom darf man sich auf die Zeltwiese in erster Reihe hinstellen, mit Strom auf die Parzellen. Gegen 16:00 wurde der Platz relativ gut besucht, an besten zwischen 14-16 Uhr ankommen. Sanitärgebäude top gepflegt & sehr neu! Wir haben für 2 Pers. + Hund + VW Bus ohne Strom £28 gezahlt.

Ein toller Platz mit guter Aussicht. Saubere Anlagen. Wir waren nur zur Entsorgung hier, die inzwischen 15£ kostet. Der Platz ist toll gelegen, um John O'Groats zu erkunden.

Die Anreisezeit sollte frühzeitig erfolgen, da viele Reisende online buchen und es kann ausgebucht sein.

stayed on this site having done lands end to John o groats on a motorbike good site for anyone in a tent . but felt like I was being taken for a ride as it was £18 for one person in a very small tent. but only £20 for 3 people in a huge motorhome. would of stayed long if the pricing was better

Lage ist der Hammer. Empfang super freundlich, Toiletten /Duschen sauber. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Chouette camping avec une vue absolument magnifique. Les sanitaires très propres. Fouches très grandes, chaudes et jet parfait! Attention que l'endroit peut être extrêmement venteux.

Wir können den Platz absolut empfehlen. Standen auf Platz F - konnten die ganze Zeit aufs Meer schauen. Sanitäre Anlagen richtig sauber, Duschen warm! Wären gern noch länger geblieben, hatten aber leider keine Zeit mehr.

The showers here are brilliant! Really powerful and warm! Recently renovated and totally worth it! These were the best showers we used on our whole trip! It cost £34 for 2 adults in a camper with hookup. Stunning views over the water, really quiet at night. You can walk for 5 mins to get to the famous sign post and a stones through away from cafes etc. Excellent campsite. 100% recommend!

we booked the site before our journey as last year it was so busy, yet this time JOG was quite and the site only had a few of us, which we liked. the showers are the best we have had on a site plenty of room to move around. I also managed to do some laundry which was £8.00 to wash and dry a load. we had a lovely coastal walk up to the lighthouse and stacks the following morning.

Great, powerful shower with a big cubicle. Cost around £34 for the night with electric hook up on hard standing. The campsite is right next to the sign and has a chip van that comes from 4:30pm.

We pre booked and were allocated a lovely seafront pitch, although most of the pitches gave a great view. The showers were powerful and hot! Lovely service when we arrived and very close to the JOG attractions.

Sauber gepflegte Kies- und Grünparzellen ! Der ganze Platz hat einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht!Das Örtchen wirkt ziemlich touristisch viele Souvenirläden Whiskybar Ich geh jetzt in der Bierbrauerei ein dunkles Bier trinken!

Super camping en face de la mer. Nous avons payé 32£ pour une nuit pour 2 adulted, 2 chiens et l'électricité.Charmant petit village animé à côté du camping. Possibilité de faire des tours en bateau. Sanitaire propres, toutes les commodités à disposition.

Sieht echt schön aus, sind allerdings nicht über Nacht geblieben, sondern haben lediglich Grauwasser abgelassen, frisch aufgefüllt und die Chemietoilette geleert. Sehr freundliche Dame am Empfang - 10 Pfund und 15 Minuten später waren wir wieder bereit Off-Grid zu leben, danke!

Super spot pour une nuit tout au nord. Calme, très belle vue, sanitaires propres (douche bien chaude et sanitaire chaufffé). La dame de l’accueil est adorable. À faire : pub typique juste à côté. magnifique balade en bord de mer (north bound), fish and chips (ici ça s appelle Haddock Scrobster), dégustation de whisky à la distillerie 8 doors (très bon cappuccino aussi). Je recommande ce lieu!!!!

Stayed one night. We thought £32.50 was a great deal for us, considering it's a great location and you get EHU showers (very clean I must add!) water discharge and refill. Which we very much needed!

Great little site. Showers, toilets, laundry & and wee shop. Good views of the sea. Cosy little pub next door. £32.50 for the night for a hard standing with electric hookup. Roof tent and air shelter used. Really nice reception.

Lovely lady on reception desk super friendly. We turned up without a booking and she sorted it out. Being out of season it wasn’t a problem but maybe in peak times it would be best to book ahead of time. Super clean toilets and hot showers! Laundry and dish washing room too. Great view of the sea, a few seals bobbing about and close to the sign. Dog friendly shops and cafe just over the road.

Stayed here for one night price was good. Facilities we’re really good compared to what we have seen. Pitch space it’s huge. Very quiet. Woman at reception was lovely.

We booked on the day and managed to get a sea-view electric hookup spot. Staff were lovely. Only a couple of minutes walk from the sign. Facilities clean. A little pricey at £32 for one night, but all in all a good stay.

Alles wie beschrieben! Wir haben zwar eine Nacht mit viel Wind gehabt, dafür schien am nächsten Tag die Sonne! Blick auf die Orkney’s garantiert! Kosten für 1 Wohnmobil mit Fahrer 20,5 £, jede zusätzliche Person 3,50 £ und Strom 8,50 £.

Haben hier spontan übernachtet. mit WOMO und 2 Personen Energie, 31,50 Pfund. Nicht wie in den Kommentaren 30 oder noch weniger. V und E vorhanden Müll . Leider Autos mank den WOMO 's( gemischt), kaum Ruhe. Soviel Türen gibt es am Auto gar nicht.

Great place to stay. The lady at the desk was very accommodating when we rang up 30 mins before they closed without a pre booking. It has everything you could need and is only 2 minutes away from John O’Groats sign. I’d recommend to anyone.

Functional site and much needed after 3 nights off grid. Has everything you need and right by the sea with a lovely walk close by. A tad expensive at £30 and most of the pitches are sloping so much it’s impossible to be flat even with chocks.

Good stopver following 3 days living off grid. Proper shower, water top up, etc. Very close for that pic in front of the signpost! Get up early for the sunrise as got some great pics. Did pass nicer looking campsites further anti-clockwise from this one, but does the job. Electric hookup also useful, decent pricing too.

Good location and view across to Orkney. However for the price the facilities are very dated with poor temperature control on the showers, pitches cramped and exposed.

ok for one night. stopped here on a whim as it was late and cold so we just wanted somewhere to park for the night. I think it's pretty expensive for what it is, nothing special but bas electric and toilets etc so it does the job. Also perfect location to wander around John O'Groats in the morning.

Sauberer Campingplatz. Haben 24 GBP für 2 Erwachsene ohne Strom gezahlt. Aber sehr schräg. Wir konnten trotz Keile nich richtig ausgleichen.

Prachtig uitzicht al kan je wel in de wind staan. Voorzieningen waren schoon al werd de douche heet en koud af en toe. Je kon prachtig wandelen naar de duncansby head stacks vanaf de camping

Netter Empfang, schöne Aussicht, alles da, was man braucht. An vielen Stellplätzen gibt es keinen Strom. Etwas teurer als Campingplätze in der Umgebung. Ausgangspunkt für Bootstouren. Achtung Hundebesitzer: auf dem und um den Platz tummeln sich extrem viele Kaninchen!!

Leider sind die Duschen in schlechtem Zustand und warmes Wasser lässt auf sich warten. Der Ausblick ist schön, gut für eine Nacht

Nous avons séjourné une nuit sans avoir effectué de réservation , le camping étant plein on nous a gentiment trouvé une place sans électricité ce qui n était pas un souci pour nous. La vue est à couper le souffle , le camping est à taille humaine les sanitaires sont très biens .

Good views, great location and friendly staff. Only let down by dated toilet blocks and not enough laundry facilities, only one washer and dryer for the whole site . I would stay here again and I would recommend.

Great campsite. Brewery, deli, distillery and various shops within 5 min walk (distillery not dog friendly but others are) Fab views and numerous water points available. Toilets/warm showers in great condition. Would definitely stay again

Empfang war sehr freundlich, der Preis für 2 Pers und Hund aber ohne Strom mit 24 £ sicherlich an der Obergrenze. Die Sanitäranlagen waren zweckmäßig aber in die Jahre gekommen. Alles ok, wir würden trotzdem wieder kommen.

Pitches feel cramped & close together. Facilities are dated. Not amazing for £32.50. Ok place to rest your head for night if your doing NC500. Wouldn’t stay again.

Done 2 nights hear as we are doing the NC500 , one of the best sites we have stayed on not very big , but very very clean site /toilets /showers etc excellent and the staff are so polite the view is just an extra bonus

Unfassbar schöne Aussicht, wenn man keinen Strom braucht kann man sich einen Platz aussuchen. Wir haben in der Hochsaison ohne Reservierung einen Platz direkt an den Klippen ergattert. Einrichtungen völlig in Ordnung.

Toller Platz, wir haben am 4.9.2022 für 2 Nächte 60£ Camper, 2 Personen, inkl.Strom bezahlt. 6£ teurer als in der Beschreibung, aber ok für uns. Ist halt auch hier alles teurer geworden. Würde aber immer wieder hier her kommen, Sanitäreinrichtungen sind sauber was will man mehr.

Bel campeggio, passata una notte prima di imbarcarci per le Orcadi. Pagato 24 sterline per 2 persone ed un van di 6 metri. Ci hanno lasciato parcheggiare nel prato in prima fila con vista sul mare e sulle Orcadi.

Aussicht und Lage ist top, doch der Preis hat es in sich - als offizieller Stellplatz ist dieser fast unerschwinglich, ja mit 41 Pfund (6 alleine für Strom) über die Schmerzgrenze - Womo 9 m mit 3 Personen - ohne Bodeneinlass - sonst 0 Bedarf

Tolle Lage, fantastischer Ausblick, unfassbarer Sternenhimmel.... Sanitärs ok, schon etwas älter und knapp ausreichend. Große, ebene Stellplätze. Für uns vier im Campervan ein prima Platz für eine Nacht.

Wir haben 33,50£ für 2 Kinder & 2 Erwachsene bezahlt. Waschmaschine & Trockner im Waschhaus. Tolle Aussicht auf‘s Meer! Sehr gepflegter Platz, Duschen & WC sind etwas älter, aber die hat man ja dabei. Zu empfehlen ist ein Besuch in der örtlichen Brauerei!

Platz wirklich schön, ich verstehe nicht, warum man, wenn man rein fährt links nach unten, keine Stromversorgung anbieten kann, da dort eigentlich der Empfangscontainer steht und Strom verlegen ein leichtes wäre. Sanitär war in meinen Augen eher unterirdisch, ungepflegt und nicht besonders sauber. Ich war hier am 23.7.2022

The pitches are out in the open with stunning views across to the islands but can get rather windy. The facilities in general were quite good and equipped, the showers were a little temperamental with the pressure and temperature, but not a deal breaker. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for a night. As a tip, no queues or crowds at the famous signpost across the road in the morning ~ 9am

can’t complain about anything….but the weather. Dense fog on june, 24th. Probably that’s why i got a pitch without reservation past 5pm. Even with a sea-vie

Sehr schöne Lage, WC und Duschen sauber. Preis allerdings teuer, da nicht alle Stellplätze Stromversorgung haben. Hier wäre ein günstiger Preis fairer. Deswegen nur 3 Sterne.

Amazing view, facilities ok. the overall tone is very bossy though. You get threatened that if you don't check out by 11am you'll be charged an extra nigh, which is common, I understand, but you can say that in a nice way. Just like the signs that are put up everywhere, they could be friendlier. Still it's a good campsite to stay for a night. Very central in town and very quiet anyways.

Loved the view from this site! Straight over the sea towards the Orkney islands. Really nice people at check in too. Toilets and showers very basic but clean. You can access a little sandy beach from the site too.

Grand camping "sans âme". ça change des petits campings presque familiaux qu'on a eus jusqu'à présent mais cela reste très correct et surtout très bien situé. Pour un fourgon et 2 personnes, nous avons payé 30£.

Great location to camp for surroundings tourist points. Right next to the John O’Groats signpost & local cafe with good coffee for the morning. We had campervan with electrical hookup. Great views. We booked in advance and bank transferred payment. Toilet and shower facilities were clean enough and did the job.

We arrived around 1.30pm and got a fantastic pitch next to the water. Excellent view. Facilities were clean.

I have given this two stars because it looks like a fantastic place to stay. we tried to book but they were full so we asked if we could pay to use the services. the response we got was extremely rude. we wouldn't stop here now if it was empty. if you need services drive up towards mey, there is a campsite called ferryview which does a pit stop for £7.50. they were very friendly.

Lucky enough to get a pitch on arrival with an excellent view. Clean facilities. £20 for 2 adults in a camper. superb walk/run to Duncansby head/ stacks from the campsite.

Stayed here for the Orkney Island tour. £20 a night for a tent pitch. no BBQs allowed but there is a back gate to the beach where you can BBQ. although facilities were clean, the shower kept getting cold every 30 seconds. also you need a code to use the toilets, which is hard to remember and the lock for the block broke several times in my stay. good price for tourist destination.

We kindly ask to pay to empty the grey water and toilet and they denied the permission. Very unfriendly people.

Had a wonderful pitch No 1 looking out to the ocean, we paid £70 for 2 nights with electric as we’re over 8m, used the washer/dryer they only have 1 of each, didn’t use the showers so no comment, but toilets were spotless and cleans regular, some fabulous hikes, wonderful cafe.

Schöner Blick aufs Meer, Sanitär einfach aber sehr sauber. Ältere Leute, etwas überfordert, nahmen mich in Empfang. Mit etwas Geduld und netten Worten war alles kein Problem 19£ für einen Camper, Strom und eine Person. Ab 13 Uhr bis 20 Uhr! kann man eincecken.

Je n’ai pas testé le camping car nous avions juste besoin des services ce qui nous a été refusé catégoriquement. Pas très sympa...
