Newly installed height restriction at entrance so not suitable for motor homes and no facilities

  • 5/5

Really enjoyed our stay, quiet parking (January) and next to the water, so could hear that. There were bins too. No other facilities but as pointed out town is nearby. The parking is next to a gorgeous walk.

  • 3/5

  • 3/5

Not really flat ground where you can park without hight restriction. quiete night though. 4G connection available. great for walk to the birks and to village.

  • 3/5

Visited many times but newly installed 2.1m height restriction means no more!! Such a shame as it was a perfect stopping point for onward journeys. Aberfeldy has some areas down by the river but a lot noisier.

  • 4/5

Parking calme.

  • 1/5

Stopped overnight here several times last year, lovely place to stay over. Upon visiting this evening, a height barrier has been installed, 2.1m max. There is space at the very entrance when you turn in but not much room at all very sloped and close to the road.

  • 5/5

Recomendable

  • 5/5

Great overnight spot. Slightly sloped but excellent walks and small waterfalls close by. Super quiet, just a few other MH’s. Very near perfect!

  • 5/5

Zeer mooie parking, in twee niveau's. Rustige nacht aan de rivier. Geen toiletten, wel vuilbakken en picknicktafels. Startpunt voor mooie wandelingen.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

We stayed here for 2 nights. Night 1 was really peaceful after 8pm. Night 2 we had 5 other vans there with us. They were noisy and left loads of rubbish all over. Washing their dishes in the stream polluting it. Please make sure you take your rubbish with you and follow the Leave No Trace outdoor ethics when enjoying these beautiful places. If not we will lose the privilege of enjoying it!

  • 5/5

Very quiet site, plenty of bins for rubbish, amazing walk up to the falls, but don’t do it in sliders (school boy error), can’t fault this place, definitely use again

  • 5/5

Fabulous place to stay overnight - make sure you go to the top car park plenty of space for campers. No disturbances at night had a great sleep. Enjoyed the walk up to falls of Moness. Great place to walk your dog and plenty of dog friendly pools for them. Easy walk into Aberfeldy centre

  • 4/5

    Ruhig, direkt am Wasser

  • 5/5

Great quiet spot right next to a stream. Follow the stream up and there’s a beautiful gorge with pools and waterfalls. Would highly recommend fairly flat there was a few other camper vans using chocks but we were fine without. Saw a handful of deer across the stream. Very peaceful

  • 4/5

Stayed here 15/4/22. Plenty of flat space with good access to walks and waterfalls etc. A few other campervans overnight but plenty of space for more. No facilities. No signs saying no overnight parking. Very busy with walkers at all times.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. No signs prohibiting overnight camping. Sound of river is relaxing to fall to sleep to. We plan to walk up to the top which I am guessing is going to be a beautiful walk as lots of walkers passing by. We’re here in mid April it’s quiet with two others small campervans parked up for the night. Probably room for about 5 motorhomes comfortably. Couple of joy riders but harmless kids

  • 5/5

Great little spot, quiet, scenic and out the way. Only 3 other motor homes when we stayed on a Thursday evening. No issues at all!

  • 1/5

Parked in top car park all lovely until 9pm kids arrived doing doughnuts... one in a blue bmw estate flicking stones over the side of my van.. other kids playing loud music....

  • 5/5

Sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht.

  • 4/5

Lovely tranquil place to park up....far end if the top car park is the most level area....Birks of Aberfeldy is a really nice circular walk just over 2 miles. Ended up not staying for the night as the good lady fancied the busier town of Pitlochry....Will certainly return though

  • 5/5

Car park for the Birks of Aberfeldy. Amazed overnight parking is allowed, but grateful for the opportunity. You feel like you're in the country, but the town is 5 mins walk away. Aberfeldy is a fabulous little town with great shops, cafes and pubs. We stayed in the upper car park on a Sunday night. There were 4 other vans. No hassle from late night visitors :-)

  • 5/5

Very peaceful setting, we stayed a Friday evening. Great forest walks on the site. Easy walk into town which has co-op, pubs, shops and plenty choice for eating.

  • 4/5

Stayed here at the weekend. Great spot. The sports center would not let me use the showers though.

  • 5/5

An amazing remote-feeling park up very nr to centre of town. Waterfalls sound amazing and block out any other noises around. Incredible trees and great walk. Gets quite busy this time of year but not mad. Good 4g on EE. Midge free too! Stumbled upon this one and decided to stay 2 nights. Revolution laundry on ind estate about 1mile away

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet parking area. The park walk was brutal but nice at the same time. Lots of uphills and stairs! Worth it for the views snd waterfalls! Our dog loved it! 5 min walk into town with many takeaways and shops, pubs etc. No hassles. Great stop over. Will definitely be back!

  • 2/5

Really nice place. Mouthy kids up there on a Friday night and according to another comment (in French below) They had issues with windows been smashed. shame really or would be a excellentl Spot

  • 4/5

Large, quiet, peaceful woodland car park. At the start of a beautiful walk along the river to a waterfall. Possible to have a quick bathe in the river at various places. Felt very safe.

  • 4/5

Great wee spot at the Birks Car Park, plenty of room for campers, a few others also there. Couple of litter bins, Public automated toilets at Tay Bridge Terrace (20p) nice walk up the falls. Few dog walkers.

  • 4/5

Gorgeous place to stay the night, not very level but easily fixed with some creative parking perhaps. River/waterfall noise is stunning to fall asleep to. Bins and picnic tables available, 10 min downhill walk to town with a butcher, bakery, cafe, several convenience stores and community toilets I believe are open from 10am free to use. Visited 6/7/21

  • 4/5

Fantastic spot in the trees next to a lovely waterfall walk. Not bothered by midges, despite it being a warm wet evening. Just 10 min walk into Aberfeldy where there's a lovely farmers market 10am-2pm on Sundays. A couple boy racers meeting early eve in the car park was a bit annoying but they didn't stay for long. Nearby Ballintaggart restaurant at Grandtully is a must visit, sensational food!

  • 4/5

Two parking areas with plenty of space. Slight slope in places. River nearby for water. Litter bins and picnic table. Lovely 2 mile route up to waterfalls. Busy with walkers in morning but quiet in evening.

  • 4/5

Lovely tranquil spot, it's a bit ominous without any fellow campers around but that's only because I prefer having neighbours in big parking areas, it was a great sleep non the less!

  • 4/5

Great place to stop for the night, few other campers in aswell , great walk upto waterfalls and back and great for walking into town and back

  • 5/5

Nice spot and a peaceful nights sleep

  • 5/5

Great little spot for the night, walked the waterfall loop which is only 2 miles and walked into town for supper. Quiet night busy in the morning with dog walkers.

  • 5/5

Here right now, stayed overnight Sat 22 May. Wonderful location, immaculately clean. Two picnic benches, litter bins, the sound of the waterfall is so relaxing, a 5 minutes walk into town for local services. No issues with noise any time. Started getting busy with walkers at the park from about 8.30am which is perfectly acceptable, no disturbances at all.

  • 4/5

Great spot, fairly level and easy walking distance to town. Nice walks around this area and the ever present sound of the water cascading behind you. Only issue was a bunch of young team in their cars having a disco until around 2300.

  • 5/5

Very quiet spot by the river. Lots of flat spaces to park on, had a great nights sleep.

  • 5/5

Birks Of Aberfeldy car park! Brilliant spot next to the river! Stayed there a couple of nights. Lovely walks and only 5 minutes walk into the town centre.

  • 5/5

Spent the night here on 28th October after visiting family in Moness Resort just along the road ( showers and swimming pool open to the public ) Very peaceful night with no disturbance

  • 2/5

Calme

  • 3/5

Parked up in small VW camper. Pretty quiet, just off the road, mainly only sound to be heard is the waterfall / river. Cool spot.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great and quite location in the woods

  • 5/5
