Large, flat car park. Overnight parking/sleeping tolerated here and some bays are long enough for a 6m van, possibly 7m. Free overnight but now costs £6.40 for a day parking. We stayed New Year's Eve and heard fireworks and some music from a pub but not loud enough to disturb us. Spent 2 nights here and slept fine. Watchet is a pretty little town worth a visit.

pulled up at this car park and we spotted the traffic warden so we took the opportunity to ask rather than taking the risk of parking over night,.she said that they Do allow you to park overnight but it's best to park within a bay and not take up more than one space, she pointed out to an area on the right where the bays were slightly longer as we were 6mts long so basically park sensibly.
I parked here during the day and although the sign doesn't say 'no overnight parking' , a car that had parked squiffy in the parking bay had a yellow parking notice on it. I decided not to chance it.
