Nice camping field, gradual slope so may need chocks. Porta Loos & Porta Showers, basic but perefctly good outdoor wash up area. Waste disposal, recycling, bins etc. We paid £22 for two adults, no EHU. No extra charges. Lovely walk through woodland to the beach. Beach is unsafe for swimming but perfect for rock pooling & paddling + direct access to coastal path. Impressive castle and gardens.
It was a great place to stay just a short walk to the village and castle and a little further to the beach ( l had my bike even quicker) the facilities are basic but very clean the owners are lovely.l would recommend
Sehr netter Besitzer! Waren kurzfristig für eine Nacht vor Ort und er war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Schöner Platz mit allem was man braucht.
Nice owner of the site in a lovely area with a short walk to the pub, shop and castle. Beach is a little further but not too far. The site has everything you need (except laundry facilities). Portaloo toilets and showers but clean and does the job. Need blocks as not flat.
Schöner ruhiger Campingplatz. WC und Duschen im Dixi Container. Alles sehr sauber. Im Ort gibt es ein Pub und eine sehr empfehlenswerte Tapasbar. Strand und Küstenwanderweg in der Nähe. Wir haben hier jeweils vor und nach der Fährüberfahrt nach Irland übernachtet.
Stayed here 1 night as non-members. Just pulled in and rang bell. Site was quiet so owner happy to let us stay. £22, toilet, hot showers, waste disposal and washing up area. No place for rubbish, that I saw. Really quiet, no signal on O2. Owner will take cash or give you bank details to transfer when you have signal. Lovely place.
