Parking temporaire de la forêt de Ballypatrick pendant la récolte des arbres. Surface plane juste à côté de la route principale A2 Cushendall, assez calme et nuitée disponible, pas de barrière de hauteur. Le parking n'a pas d'installations mais est plat, solide chemin de terre et entouré d'arbres qui fournissent une couverture et de l'ombre. Pas de poubelles mais il y avait une grosse benne sur place pour se débarrasser des déchets. Il y a des poubelles plus loin sur la route A2 au parking d'origine de Forest. J'y ai passé deux nuits, capable de s'asseoir le soir avec un foyer et des chaises.
Ballypatrick Forest Temporary Car Park whilst tree harvesting is undertaken. Flat surface just off the main A2 Cushendall Road, quite quiet and overnight stay available, no height barrier.
Car park has no facilities but is level, solid dirt track and surrounded by trees which provide cover and shade.
No bins but there was a big skip on site to dispose of litter. There are bins further down the A2 road at the original Forest carpark.
Stayed here for two nights, able to sit out in the evening with fire pit and chairs.
Temporärer Parkplatz Ballypatrick Forest während der Baumernte. Flache Oberfläche direkt an der Hauptstraße A2 Cushendall Road, ziemlich ruhig und Übernachtung möglich, keine Höhenbarriere. Der Parkplatz hat keine Einrichtungen, ist aber eben, ein fester Feldweg und von Bäumen umgeben, die Schutz und Schatten bieten. Keine Mülleimer, aber es gab einen großen Container vor Ort, um Müll zu entsorgen. Es gibt Behälter weiter unten auf der A2 auf dem ursprünglichen Forest-Parkplatz. Ich war hier für zwei Nächte und konnte abends mit einer Feuerstelle und Stühlen draußen sitzen.

Do not attempt to travel to this park up. There is no longer access to this location. A heavy duty barrier is across the road with very little space for turning round, especially for larger vehicles. The road is narrow with soft verges on either side.
Platz zum übernachten sind auch hier nicht geblieben haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt
Large flat car park just off the main road. A bit of road noise overnight and one passing car horn but otherwise quiet. Some early morning walkers. Nice to walk in the forest but no amenities.
