One of many car parks down a very long entrance road in to Sutton Park. Head for bracebridge pub. the best spots are 1/2 mile in to park by pub. Stick to public car parks towards pub. Idyllic, safe but note there is zero mobile reception due to heavy tree cover in summer. our van is 7.3m and access was fine. Excellent walks and nature. No bins, so treat with respect.

Keine Mülleimer, also mit Respekt behandeln.

Good park up. Gates wide open at 930pm. Unsure if they are actually closed. Did have a car pull up next to the van at 1230 which was a bit creepy. Stayed for a minute then drove off. Would probably stay again.

Lovely vast area & lovely to see the wild horses in roam. Another van parked very close in the large parking tho left early hours, noisy neighbours ! The ambience of the area was spoilt by high speed trains through the night & we did not hear the night birds which was unexpected. It was okay tho on leaving the park, i bottomed out my moho on a speed ramp which was not seen.

had a great night. The council who shut the gates didn't seem to check the park for vehicles, and another car was left overnight in the car park (I laid low just in case) overall very happy, no phone signal isn't a joke, even with my roof antenna I couldnt get the slightest bit of signal, even phone call signal. Overall very happy with this spot

I really don’t know what to make of this place! You drive through a gate, almost like you are driving into a private estate. Huge sign saying gates shut at 5.30pm. You drive a fairway into the “estate” to get to the parking areas. Find something level is difficult. But, it is a really nice area. Sign for restaurant/pub that is in the grounds says gates remain open for guests. If you’re local you will know the deal with this place but I couldn’t take the risk of the gates being locked. For larger motor homes note very low branches on the long road into the main parking areas. I did not stay the night and left before 5.30.

A few cars passing later at night but quiet generally and nice surroundings. Arrived 10pm and gates were open. Lots of walkers in morning.

Looked like a lovely quiet spot, however gates shut at 9pm, there was a white van waiting at the entrance to close them doesn't show an opening time, we needed to leave early so didn't stop.

The gates don't close at 9pm because the pub is at the end of the lane...Stayed one night. Busy with dog walkers in the morning. A hidden gem in an upmarket area close to Great Barr / M6
