lovely welcome when we arrived from lorren. nice level field ample room nice and very peaceful. There are toilets and shower very clean, nice view with horses and trees would recommend

À deux pas des villes et villages locaux, et à seulement 10 minutes en voiture de la charmante Dumfries House. Explorez leurs deux aires de jeux pour enfants, leur labyrinthe, leurs magnifiques jardins clos, leurs promenades pittoresques et leur architecture époustouflante.
Les foyers et barbecues surélevés sont les bienvenus, à condition qu'ils soient surélevés.
Les chiens amicaux et bien élevés sont également les bienvenus. Ils doivent être tenus en laisse sur place en raison de la présence d'animaux à proximité, mais notre accès direct aux bois environnants leur permet de courir librement et de s'amuser sans fin. N'oubliez pas d'apporter vos bottes en caoutchouc (nous sommes en Écosse).

Off-the-ground firepits and BBQs are welcome, as long as they are raised off the grass.
Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome, too. They need to be on a lead onsite due to nearby livestock, but our direct access to surrounding woodlands lets them run free and enjoy endless fun. Just make sure to bring your wellies (this is Scotland).

traceyfirth30/08/2025Our 2nd stopover here in 2 years. Handy location en route to Scotland. No hassle, spacious grass & gravel parking. A shower & 2 loos but never too busy. BBQ allowed off ground. Tree lined & hidden from the town.

Endroit chouette, calme, propre, des spots en durs ou sur l’herbe. Le tout à proximité des champs avec les chevaux. La douche est simple mais suffisante. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et recommandons ce lieux.

Lovely, quiet spot in the countryside. We paid £23 for a campervan (2 adults and a child). Flat, gravelled pitches. Two toilets (one with a shower) and outdoor sink (cold water tap) to do your dishes. All very clean and well maintained. Warm welcome and very accommodating. A great stop over.

Nuit paisible dans la campagne, au milieu des champs et des chevaux. Camping simple avec une douche, des toilettes et un bac à vaisselle. Accueil très chaleureux. Possibilité de louer brasero et bois pour le feu de camp. une super alternative aux campings très onéreux de la région.

Absolutely beautiful place to stop for the night or a two, surrounded by nature, paddocks and horses. 6 large, hard, level, gravel spots. You can hire a fire pit for the evening. Warm shower and toilets, fresh water access, outdoor sink to do your washing up. And lovely, welcoming owner. We paid £15. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Really nice spot to chill out loads of space for the big Motorhomes no need for the levelling ramps here the pitches are all perfectly flat very smiley and happy owner greets you and let’s you know where everything is 5 star

Nice hard stage area for 6 MH’s plus a field for camping. No EHU but we didn’t need it. Recommend little stopping point set in open countryside with some woodlands

Lovely place. Basic with two toilets and one shower but there are only five hard spaces, so it’s sufficient. In the middle of meadows. Friendly host. Paid £15. No electricity or dumping options.

Wir verlebten hier eine herrliche ruhige Nacht!! Der Empfang war super nett, warmherzig und fix! Leider gab es keine Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten, würden deshalb aber keinen Punkt abziehen! Machten eine Radtour von dort aus, schöne Strecken für den Hund gab es auch! Gerne wieder! 5 Sterne! Danke!

Great place for a stopover, very quiet spot. Facilities are immaculate, two toilets and a shower. Fresh water available but no wastewater or elsan disposal. £15/night for motorhome, no electric hookups available. Definitely recommend.

Small campsite, lovely and quiet. Hardstanding pitches. Only 1 toilet unisex and 1 shower with a toilet unisex. Kept very nice and the owners are lovely. Bins, washing up area, fresh water. Very peaceful, just sit back and enjoy the countryside. Lovely and quite nights sleep.

Great campsite, warm welcome from the owners, clean and well organised facilities, a very well cared for and spacious camping field surrounded by woodland and fields, shops takeaways and petrol station 2 miles away. All very much appreciated, thank you. Would definitely recommend.

ein schöner grosser Platz. 1 WC und 1 Dusche mit WC, Geschirrwasch-Station, Trinkwasser. £ 15 für Van und 2 Erwachsene. Kein Strom. Sympathische Gastgebende. Sehr zu empfehlen für Menschen, die Natur, Ruhe und Einfachheit mögen.

Laureen met à disposition un pré de sa ferme ; tout est très bien entretenu, douche + toilettes + éviers pour la vaisselle. Une dizaine de vans et des chevaux.20 livres la nuit. Cool.
