A very good campsite. Clean and functional with EHU for £20 you really cannot go wrong. Negatives are that there is not much else here and there is some distant traffic noise from the nearby A50 but this did not affect our sleeping. This site can be used as a base for wider Derbyshire eg Ashbourne or Derby both are only about 10 ish miles away. We will return as we often pass by. Bring cash.

Nice site with a lovely old couple. £18 for 1 night, 2 people in a motorhome. Be sure to have cash as they do not accept cards or bank transfers.
Arrivée tardive improvisée vers 19:30. Super spot pour recharger électricité et eau. Un monsieur âgé et charmant a pris de son temps pour nous aider car panne de notre panneau solaire. Merci de son aide, sous une pluie diluvienne! Calme, terrain propre, sanitaires impeccables. 18£ pour 2 +chien pour une nuit. Merci !!

What a great site... £18 for 2 adults and a dog in a campervan with EHU. Beautifuly maintained, women's toilet block looks brand new, men's older but is still nice and very clean. £1 for 5 mins shower. Phone number for the site is. .... 01283 585 275

Sehr gepflegter, schöner idyllischer Platz auf urigem Bauernhof. Sanitäranlagen, Spülküche, Entsorgung etc alles vorhanden. Hunde erlaubt. Wir durften für eine Nacht mit zwei Vans auf einem Pitsch stehen und haben somit nur einen Zehner pro Van bezahlt. Nur zu empfehlen!
Sehr herzliche Gastgeber eines Bauerhofes. Kleiner, sauberer Campingplatz mit Strom für 18£. Duschen kostet 1£ für 5 Minuten. Man hört die A50 im Hintergrund Rauschen, sonst ist es ruhig. Die Stellplätze sind ausreichend groß. Hier stehen einige Wohnwagen mit Vorzelt und Auto auf einer Parzelle.
Kleiner aber feiner Platz auf einem alten Hof. Die Rezeption muss man erstmal finden, aber der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Waren auf der Durchreise und kommen gerne wieder. Nur das wlan ist am Ende des Platzes nicht mehr brauchbar und kaum zu empfangen. Wer drauf angewiesen ist sollte lieber näher an den Häusern stehen.
Stopped off here on the way south from Scotland. A lovely little site run by an old couple. The old boy couldn't be more helpful and the woman was really friendly. If I'm passing here again, this will definitely be a stop off.
