Very comfortable place to stay , we stayed here with a friend and we left plenty of space for others to use the car park. Lots of wild swimming and SUP users using the car park. We paddled around the lake and had a pleasant night.
Lovely park up room for maybe 3 vans. No height restrictions and flat grounds. Full WiFi signal. Slightly back from road and was nice and quiet. May 2026
Great little spot, enough room to fit two small campers. Great scenery and grassy area close to the lake. Not much noise from the road
A great spot! We stopped here for one night in our roof tent. There was room for another vehicle if needed. We would stop here again. There was a little road noise but it was quiet enough during the night for us to get a good sleep.
A great park up! A little road noise but not a problem really. Walk to Coniston lake about 10 minutes away. Lots of other walks nearby. Beautiful spot. Unfortunately some dirty person had emptied their cassette toilet down the path towards the lake and another pooped in a bag and left it! Come on guys respect the area!
A great little park up! I stayed here on a bank holiday and it was just me and one other van. Flat enough and a really quick walk to the lake. Not much traffic between 9-8, a great spot!
Great place to stop and pretty decent parking space for about 3 vehicles I would say. Very quiet all night long but traffic picks up a bit in the morning which wasn’t really a problem.
Off the road parking, a little uneven. Lots of grass around the edges. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Not far from Coniston waters to walk down to. Very quite, slept really well and felt safe. Would recommend
