Zurzeit sind hier unzählige Baufahrzeuge, Bagger usw. abgestellt. Vielleicht wegen des Wochenendes? Wir wollten uns nicht dazwischen quetschen.
Parking fantastique (à droite de la route). À côté d'une plage de galets, eau super claire, à l'intérieur d'une baie protégée, superbe vue sur une île et quelques montagnes. Près de la ville avec des restaurants, etc. La plupart sont fermés en ce moment (janvier).
Fantastic parking lot (to the right of the road). Next to a pebble beach, super clear water, inside a protected bay, great view towards an island and some mountains. Close to town with restaurants, etc. Most are closed at this time (January).
Fantastischer Parkplatz (rechts von der Straße). Neben einem Kiesstrand, superklares Wasser, in einer geschützten Bucht, toller Blick auf eine Insel und einige Berge. In der Nähe der Stadt mit Restaurants usw. Die meisten sind zu dieser Zeit (Januar) geschlossen.

sveraklidu29/11/2025We spent two nights here (November 25) and even though there is a road around the parking lot, it was quiet at night. It is a little busier during the day, but nothing terrible. The beach is pebble and the water is crystal clear. And there is a beautiful view of the island of Spinalonga.
GO198422/09/2025Parking lot very rough and saturated by small cars in mid-september, public toilets do not exist anymore in Plaka (although they were there some years ago), beach showers still there. Roads to Plaka are very tight for big campervans.
Kigen13/06/2025Passable und nur bedingt schöne Alternative zu sonst wenig Möglichkeiten, weil direkt an der Straße (der andere Platz kurz vorher links ist sehr schräg und hat kaum Schatten)! Tagsüber viel Betrieb und meist zu geparkt. Später am Abend wenig los und viel Platz. Allerdings bis Mitternacht noch Mopeds und Autos, auch dann früh morgens wieder. Doch gute Wahl für Baden und Sightseeing (Spinalonga)!

Très bien pour visiter la ville, nous sommes restés là 1h sans souci mais trop de monde pour y rester dormir un samedi.

Buon parcheggio con vista direttamente sulla spiaggia. Doccia funzionanti in questo periodo ma locali ancora chiusi. Un po’ di sporcizia in giro. Nel complesso tutto ok, abbiamo passato una buona notte.

Für n Winter schöner Platz direkt am Strand schöne Aussicht auf die Lebrainsel im januar natürlich alles geschlossen aber die Stranddusche geht ! Müllcontainer an der Straße

Am Ende der Welt. Für eine Nacht ist das o.k. Um die Jahreszeit ist nichts los. Leider wie vielerorts liegt Müll rum.

Great place right next to the pebble beach. There are functional showers, public water tap is 5 km away in town. The place is quite busy during the day even in the off season.

El lugar es una maravilla. Si, la playa es de piedras pero es hermosa, agua cristalina y limpia( no puedo entender los malos comentarios) y es facilisimo bañarse. Vistas a Spinalonga y muy tranquilo en la noche. Estábamos solos en temporada baja, y los locales que conocimos en la mañana muy amables.

Wir haben den Platz genutzt, weil wir nach Spinalonga wollten. Die Duschen waren o.k. Der Strand furchtbar. Bei den Steinen kommt man kaum ins Wasser. Achtung Mückenplage. Der Ort hat mit Griechenland nichts zu tun. Vor den Tavernen wird man von Koberern belästigt. Da vergeht einen alles. Für uns nie wieder...

d'accord c'est un super emplacement sur cette côte qui se construit de plus en plus! Juste en face Spinalunga accessible en bateau en 5 mn ,navette toute les heures en ce mois d'avril. C'est le début de la saison les douches et les WC n'étaient pas encore en service Avons passé 2 nuits très calme
Rickycol11/09/2023Parcheggio in piano. Rumore dai locali accanto e dalle auto di passaggio fino all’una circa di notte. Presente una doccia della spiaggia. Molti bar nelle vicinanze. Tanti alberi per ottima ombra.

Parking parfaitement situé à côté de la plage de galets. Espace plat pour se garer avec son campervan. Proximité de WC libres d'accès et de douches extérieures. Attention toutefois car il y a beaucoup de passage nocturne (dépôts d'ordures dans les bennes, demi-tours, taxi etc etc.).

Nice place to stay for a night or two. Right next to the beach and many shops. There are showers you can use too. Flat surface and shade, but you need to arrive either after 6pm or very early in the morning.

Schöner ruhiger Platz mit Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Insel Spinalonga. Haben uns sicher gefühlt.

Sehr schöner Ort! Grandios, Fortress Spinalonga im Sonnenuntergang! Im April auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Ok, Müll in einer Ecke des Platzes!
gadou4224/09/2022Effectivement essayez d arriver après 18h pour passer la nuit ici un coin SUPER ! Le lendemain matin prendre le bateau à 300m pour spinalonga 10 minutes de traversée et 10 € aller-retour l accès à l île est de 8€ 4 pour les de 65 ans nous y sommes resté l après-midi pour une super baignade et 2ème nuit sans problème 5 étoiles

Don’t know what to say… the area is ravage by hotel construction. Lot’s of garbage and VERY smelly parking. Awfully windy, but shelter possible under the trees. Useless beach with very large pebbles. If you arrive after 10am or before 6pm you won’t be able to park your camper during high season. Come here to spend a night (very quite by the way) before going to Spinalonga. Otherwise avoid.

Eine tolle Gelegenheit, hier zu übernachten. Man kann direkt am Strand und den kalten Duschen stehen aber man muss früh (vor 12) kommen ( oder Sonntags nach 18 Uhr) da sonst alles mit PKW zugestellt ist. Der nahe Ort hat gute Tavernen. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig aber wir hatten mit vielen Mücken zu kämpfen.

The Beach is really beautiful and I can imagine it’s a quiet spot during off-season. We were there on May 2nd and the beach was completely “filled” with umbrellas and sun loungers. The town is quite touristy, has about ten taverns and some tourist shops. I would have left immediately if we wouldn’t have arrived late with the kids. The night was quiet though.
