Sehr schöner Platz, aber ewig lange Zufahrt sehr eng! Keine Ausweichmöglichkeiten. War total überfüllt und wollten nicht über holprige Wiese. Sind umgedreht. Die Plätze sind alle auf Wiese und sehr uneben. Eher was für Dachzelt oder maximal Van. Keine größeren Mobile (>6m)

This was the most perfect park up! Beautiful!! Very quiet with just the sound of running water and the sheep. Obvious signs that other campers had lit fires, don’t be them people respect the area. May 2025

beautiful location, perfect for overnight stop. stayed here Easter weekend and a few motorhomes parked around. lots of places to pull up at the side of the road/River. kids love paddling in the stream.
ANDREWandEM16/03/2025Great little stop over for the night. was a little put off by the comments of the locals beeping their horns, which made every approaching set of headlights a heightened sense of anxiety however we had no issues. very quiet area, low traffic through the night, amazing for star gazing. nearby walks by the river and hills.

lovely place but within an hour of arriving at 7 pm, a large dark haired male in a grey Landover Discovery drove past slowly with the horn blaring, his demeanor was threatening so we left. be careful and report anything similar to the police.

Parked a little further along the road as there wasn’t any 4G right next to the river. No cars passed after 9pm, and about 5 cars passed in the morning from 7am onwards. Very windy on top of the hill!

Lovely quiet pitch … EE reception okay and stunning views, even if the weather was awful :) I spoke to a local who said no one has any probs with parking here but it gets very busy in summer - with an ice cream van here too!

interment phone signal, beautiful views although clearly a heavily used spot because of all the fire pits. Also had the 5am horn beep, obviously a disgruntled local
Nosito31/05/2023Wunderschöner Ort, sehr gut um abends die Füße ins Wasser zu halten. Leider wurden wir ebenfalls um ca. 5 Uhr durch hupen aus unserem Schlaf gerissen.

This has been mostly blocked off by boulders at some point during the winter, I think due to overcrowding and anti-social behaviour last couple of summers by big groups. You can still get 1-2 small vans easily in the remaining space, and there is more space on the road edge. Beautiful view though.

beautiful place spent one evening there ruined a a silver grey discovery blowing his horn at 3 vans at 7.30pm then another vehicle driving next to our van then blowing his horn at 5.10am thought he was coming into the van

Perfect place near a river and hills BUT we got whistle by a car at 5am (he did it too towards other 2 vans that were 100meter from us and between each other). Not the first time it happens to us in the UK, …

Spent one night here lovely views as you can see from photos no boulders so got parked right on stream lovely sound of water with door open. Pretty level as well Just a handful of cars went by all evening very quiet overnight. Good spot for the camper vans Lanes could cause some very minor scratches on wider motorhomes as bushes hang out quiet far in some places. But we’ll worth the effort I think.

A barrier of huge rocks now prevents vehicular access to the riverside and allows for only three closely parked vehicles. still a lovely quiet spot to stay at.

loved it here. Very quiet. Cars going by occasionally. Sheep for neighbours. Beautiful views and great walks.
