Une belle vue, un cadre à la ferme comme on les aime. Tous les services sont présents, car oui depuis cet été un boîtier électrique est placé (1£ pour 2 heures). Nous n'y avons pas dormi malgré le cadre idyllique, nous avons utilisé les services et acheté une boîte d’œufs (2£). Le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible.
A lovely, basic aire with waste and water services at a very moderate cost. Large pitches looking out to sea but we hadn't planned to stop there. Next time we shall. The owner is an absolute delight and fully explains all services. Point of note - there is no signage on the main road so be sure to turn off at the Hill of Many Stanes junction. The croft is clearly posted thereafter.
The owner was very kind and explained the facilities. It was 10 pounds per day, and it seemed like the area had poor cell service. I contacted the owner and received the password, which allowed me to use the campsite's Wi-Fi. Still, the connection wasn't very good.

Beautifully kept site on a working Croft (like a European Aire) large pitches looking towards the sea. Each had a table & fire pit (you can buy wood!) Peter was delightful. Everything you need if you are self contained (even herbs for your supper!) We took a walk to Hill o’Many stanes and extended it to the coastal path. Not far from Whalagoe Steps (small car park as a bit too far to walk)
We had a wonderful time here. Peter was incredibly kind and welcoming, and our child absolutely loved exploring the farm, it was such a special experience. The views are beautiful and the place is peaceful, with a really authentic feel. We’d love to come back, definitely highly recommended!
Excellent little site. Nicole and Peter are very nice and accommodating. Landscape is beautiful and well looked after with a fantastic view to wake up to (Once the fog disperses) If any tent campers turn up, I recommend a mallet/hammer as the ground is fairly tough (we stayed on 1 spot, unsure what the other spots are like) Don’t expect pegs to go all the way in, they will go in enough though.
Très bon accueil dans un endroit au calme avec des emplacements spacieux, pourvu d’une très belle table de pique-nique.Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit.
Un lloc espectacular! Hem estat a la zona de caravanes de la granja i ens ha encantat: tranquil·litat total, envoltat de natura i amb unes vistes precioses. Peter i Nikole són un amor, súper atents i sempre amb un somriure. El preu és molt ajustat, cosa que s’agraeix molt. Ideal per desconnectar i gaudir… 100% recomanable!

We have visited this place today to refill our camper and to dump our waste (5£). We were greeted very friendly and everything was explained to us. If you want to have a barbecue you only have to bring the meat. If it weren't to early today we would have stayed there. What you get is definitly worth more than the price you have to pay especially for this area of Scotland.
We werden ontvangen door een bijzonder aardige eigenaar en zijn vrouw. Prima plek voor een overnachting. Er is in de omgeving niet heel veel te doen, al hebben we nog wel een aardige wandeling kunnen maken naar het windmolenpark. Zeer ruime plekken en mogelijkheid om een vuurtje te stoken. Aanrader!
Very nice place. You can refill potable water here, empty your grey water/toilet and throw out your garbage. The owner is very friendly and showed us around the place. For just 5£ great service! We recommend it.

Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man von einem naturnahen Campingplatz erwartet. In 300 Metern ist ein historischer Steinkreis. Natur und historischer Bode n. Dafür kommen wir nach Schottland.
nous sommes restés 2 nuits sur cette aire de camping car toute simple mais où l'on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. eau, vidanges eaux grises et noires. Le propriétaire est vraiment très gentil. Nous sommes allés visiter le site historique de Hill o' many stanes, distant de quelques centaines de mètres.
lovely little stop over on a little croft has top up and emptying facilities and you have a little fire pit on your pitch. you can buy wood etc from the owners. we didn't see the owners but there is an honesty box for you to leave your money.
We just stopped in for services, the owner is a very nice man who we had a lovely chat to. Would be a lovely spot for the night!
Le propriétaire est vraiment très accueillant, 5£ pour les services c'est très abordable, nous avons pu rester une petite heure le temps de se détendre un peu sur un des emplacement. Je recommande vraiment l'endroit même pour y passer la nuit.
Un accueil très chaleureux, un aménagement fait-maison très réussi. Nous venions pour les services, nous avons finalement mangé sur place, juste au prix des services. Merci !
Superfreundlicher Besitzer! Konnten leeren und füllen für 5£! Hat nicht in unseren Reiseplan gepasst, sind daher weiter, aber hübscher Platz mit schöner Aussicht.
Super Platz mit toller Aussicht. Für den Preis, sehr angenehm, WLAN vorhanden (gegen 5£ Aufpreis), Internetverbindung, ein wenig eingeschränkt, aber leicht vorhanden. Frisches Wasser und Gartenkräuter kostenfrei im Angebot. Vielen Dank für diesen TOLLEN ORT!!!

such a lovely and quiet spot. easy set up and worth the £10. we didn't have a fire but there were fire pits available on every pitch. looked like room for 6 pitches and easy access to water, grey water disposal and chemical toilet disposal. if you're not staying it's £5 for use of the disposal and water facilities and there's an honesty box to leave money in if the crofter doesn't come round.

Super spot um Toilette zu leeren und Wasser abzulassen sowie aufzufüllen. Haben Geld in die Honesty Box geworfen. Ansonsten kann man hier bestimmt nachts gut stehen. Es gibt Feuerholz und man darf Lagerfeuer machen.

Wonderful night sleep. Amazingly friendly hosts. Everything you need for a fire pit for £10. It’s such a wonderful treat. Beautiful sunrise overlooking the sea. If you can do without toilet and a shower, it is perfect. The selection of fresh herbs that you can pick for cooking your dinner. Absolutely recommend if you are passing by.

needed to empty black water, wasn't going to stop. but I caught the very good weather at the whaligoe steps which is 5 minutes away in the van. so was there a long time Good views of the sea and on a clear night can see hundreds of safety lights out at sea. very quiet and lovely smiley couple. van is now ready for another 5 day's off grid.

Très pratique de trouver ce genre d'installation permettant de faire seulement les services quand on est de passage (pour 5 livres dans une boîte si le propriétaire n'est pas là). Juste très surpris de l'endroit indiqué pour vider les eaux grises : on recule et on vide sur un emplacement herbeux ?!?! Pas de grille visible, on se demande si l'eau est bien récupérée à part et si c'est écologique...

Sehr schöner ruhiger Stellplatz, direkt an der Kuhweide, mit Blick aufs Meer. Besitzer war sehr nett. Es gibt sogar Tische und Stühle die man benutzen darf! Sehr ruhig und idyllisch.

Great services, little off the road, quiet, superb view at the sea. Great to stay for the night, although we only made use of the services.
Perfect place to stop off for standalone services, or to stay overnight! Brilliant location surrounded by farms & with views of the sea, & a wonderful wonderful host!! Each individual pitch has a wooden table made from a large recycled electrical wire spool and a campfire made out of an old gas bottle. Excellent stop! Would recommend!

Dropped by to use the services! Nice place with nice view, easy road access, and got all we needed. Loved the long water hose that made our life easier in freezing day for water refilled. Payment into honesty box and easy access without hassle of phone call for appointment. Other facilities are well described per earlier comment and the provided photos!
Absolutely brilliant place! The owners are some of the friendliest people I’ve met. The view is amazing. Water fill up. Waste disposal. Bins. Fire pits. Fire kits available. Honesty box for self service if owners aren’t around - please pay! Level ground, hard standing and grass to choose from. BBQs allowed. Very relaxed. 100% recommend. Only £10 for the night with services or £5 for services only. £8-10 for fire kits / wood.
