Perfect for The Picturedome as others have said. All spaces are short (6m) and sloping either side-to-side or three slightly longer ones tail-to-nose up. Recommend arriving as office hours finish as we had to return later to get a longer space (6.4m). Used the free parking at the swimming baths to hold up during the day. It’s a council run carpark, no signs and no charges. Overnight at own risk.
spaces are VERY tight. 6m campervan went to CO-OP car park instead where theres more room. managed to park around outside edge with back end over the edge.
Perfect, went for a gig at the picturedrome, lovely place, great not to have far to go home for the night. very peaceful
Stayed here last night after finding this location in this app. Very quiet with no passing traffic. No charge to stay until 8am. No facilities. 5min walk to the centre of Holmfirth and all the bars and restaurants and shops etc. Will stay here again!
Excellent car park within a short distance from town centre. Clean and tidy next to a stream. Very friendly locals and next to the fire station which is very handy and can sleep safe n sound. Would definitely recommend.
Small car park which is free between 4pm and 8am and then £1 for 3 hours. It use the app so you don’t even need to get out of your van in the morning to use the pay machine. Visited during a festival and there were still several empty spaces. There’s also a much bigger car park by a Co-op across the road. I think this is a bit more expensive, but I think you could stay over in this too
Used this carpark a couple of times in Dec when we went to The Picturedrome for gigs. It's a great spot and close to town. Quiet and safe. This will definitely be one of our go to places when visiting Holmfirth.
Had same experience as 'Warninglight' below...very handy, lightly used car park this evening, not far from the concert venue/town centre...and a decent takeaway pizza joint, if that's yur bag!? Left early, so no fee...Happy days!
Perfect spot for a visit to the Picturedrome. Had the car park to ourselves on a Saturday night, spaces are quite tight so really doesn't suit any large motorhomes. Parking charges kick in at 8am, but machine wouldn't take money the evening before, so had to pay at 8am to stay a bit later. £1 for 3 hours isn't bad.
Great spot, above a river, supermarket over the road, friendly pub nearby but lots more a bit further on.
On a quick check, it is "pay and display". but I might be wrong
