Water tap no longer works. Didn’t check chemical disposal.

We stayed here 16/06. £11 seems a bit steep as there are no facilities, but it is nice and flat, it felt very safe [some of the street lights are like searchlights!] very close to Tesco supermarket and retail park and a very nice and easy walk across the bridge over the River Taw into Barnstaple. We also saw the gravel area at the back of the Long Stay parking, but weren't sure about parking there

At the back of the new car park nearby there is an area for travellers which includes a chemical disposal point which includes water. If the gate is closed you can still access it by walking round the side. It’s on the right as you face the car park.

stayed 2 nights, everything is safe and quiet ... leisure centre right next door ... shops all around and a short walk into the town center ...would use this park up again .

Idea for a one day stop over in Barnstaple, £2.50 all day, Including the night stop over. Nothing special for outlook. But who cares when you can walk over the Bridge for a great selection of pubs & restaurants.

Easy to walk to Tesco to stock up. Few spaces but lovely and level. All spaces filled with campervans when we arrived just before 6pm, so I suggest you get there early. Busy around the shopping centers but I am sure it will quite down later.

£2.50 for the day, no overnight fee. Long bays for vans and trucks. We stayed 1 night with 2 other campers and 2 trucks. Quiet enough night, located near Tesco, and short walk to the old bridge and into Barnstaple. Parking is busy late afternoon with overflow from the gym, but settled down afterwards.

Nice place to park up in the town to explore a little and walk the dogs. Very quiet for somewhere in a town but limited (big) spaces. You pay £2.50 for <3.5t or £10 for >3.5t for the day.

  • 5/5

Good place to park as it’s cheap and not to far from centre 10 min walk max fits all vehicles, limited spaces!

Basically a car park. Cheap but not somewhere we wanted to stay the night. We walked into Barnstaple which was a dirty town strewn with litter. Not somewhere I'd recommend.

Great place for a night, very handy for exploring the town.

Quiet overnight. Felt a little awkward taking up a space as it’s well used with lorry drivers but it is advertised on the council’s own website as the place to stay. Tesco just a two minute walk away as well as other supermarkets and coffee shops near by. Tarka Trail easily accessible from here and the train station and Barnstable town within easy reach on foot.
