Superplatz! Tolle Aussicht! Man kann auch schön ein Stückchen wandern. Der Platz ist teils eben, teils leicht abschüssig. Es kommen immer wieder Autos, die kurz anhalten und die Aussicht genießen. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig, kein Verkehr, nur ein paar Schafe. Platz max für 4-5 Camper.

L’endroit est vraiment magnifique ! Proche de route mais pas tellement dérangeant. Par contre le non respect des gens est honteuse ! Nous avons trouvé tout près du van un capote, des lingettes, des mégots …

Beautiful quiet spot with even some sheep for visitors! Amazing views even more so if you hike up the hill a bit :)
sashabarrettferris02/07/2024Absolutely stunning views. My old 1997 Fiat Ducato managed the steep and windy roads up, so should be no bother for most vehicles. Quiet stay with the company of some sheep. Great 5G. Strong winds at night but grand enough.

Marvellous location between two valley lakes. The big lake along the road they say it is deep as the mountain and it provides ongoing water supply to the local area as far as Letterkenny. Beautiful hike too. Weather changes quickly due to location. Someone used the horn in the evening time and during the night. I did a massive litter picking along the road as it was filthy. But all worthy!

Endroit tranquille avec une superbe vue sur les lacs des deux côtés du parking. Un peu de passage pour voir le coucher de soleil. Sinon les moutons nous tiennent compagnie. Bien dormi même si le vent soufflait bien.

dokker522/08/2022Toller Ort mit atemberaubender Aussicht! Bei uns war es sehr windig in der Nacht mit Dachzelt. Im Camper sollte es aber kein Problem sein. Ein Stern Abzug, weil viele für einen kurzen Stop halten und die kleine Straße bis sehr spät abends verhältnismäßig viel befahren ist. Schön wäre es auch, wenn alle ihren Müll wieder mitnehmen würden. Für eine Übernachtung aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen!

360° views over Lough Salt behind & Lough Greenan & Glen Lough towards Sheephaven Bay on the coast. Small, flatish area. PLEASE take your litter and loo paper with you.

Great Place, although it is a view point so I suspect it would get busy in the summer so would arrive later, however we saw around 10 cars come and go throughout the evening. You can get out and walk the dog, lovely to explore but there is only sheep tracks to follow. spectacular views as you are so high, but with this comes the wind but we loved it.
