Great spot with 4g but slanted unless parked right in the groove. Isolated but just off a busy road. Midges out in force tho

Wir standen heute alleine hier. Sehr schöner Platz. Nehmt bitte euren Müll wieder mit, damit solche Plätze erhalten bleiben.

Quiet spot at the enterance to the forest. A couple of vans came up whilst we were parked but we have the best, level spot. A few midges at the end of April so imagine they’d be fairly unbearable later in the year.

Great little find after showing in Ullapool. very peaceful. able to get flat right in the corner. would stop here again.

A hidden gem! This is up off the main road and much better than a lay-by. Tucked truck into the turning area which you can get level on, had a quiet night. A local worker using the forestry gate was friendly, please take your litter home (unlike some others) to keep him this way! Highly recommend and also convenient for showers at Ullapool!

Sehr schöne Aussicht allerdings gibt es keine wirklich ebene Fläche nichtmal in der Haltebucht. Mit einem Stein unterm Rad gehts aber. Es war sehr matschig und die Zufahrt nach oben muss immer frei bleiben, die Besitzer fuhren abends und früh morgens vorbei, aber alle waren mega freundlich. Die Aussicht aufs Loch und Ullapool sind grossartig.

Lovely spot but didn’t stay due to midges.

Didn’t stay, we were the only camper which was a plus but it was so uneven and the midges were rife!

Zuerst es gibt hier keine Toiletten kein Mülleimer nichts, also alles mitnehmen bitte. 1 Stern Abzug für uns da es schon sehr matschig ist.( Hat allerdings auch viel geregnet) ansonsten super Platz absolut windgeschützt super Ausblick und sehr viel Ruhe am Abend Straße hört man nur manchmal.

Nous avons adoré ce spot qui permettait de rejoindre directement le sentier menant au Beinn Dearg. Le bruit de la route en contrebas peu gênant durant la nuit. Nous avons cependant été surpris du nombre de déchets laissés derrière la barrière, dans la forêt. Nous en avant ramasser quelque uns, en espérant que les prochains utilisateurs de ce spot se montreront plus respectueux.

Etwas abschüssig und es ist strenggenommen nur ein Platz, denn der Weg muss für Waldarbeiter freigehalten werden. Dennoch wundervoll halb im Wald zu übernachten und fernab der Straße, sodass Strassenlärm kaum zu hören ist. Der Weg ist etwas steil und löchrig, aber langsam und vorsichtig hoch fahren funktioniert super.

Parked on the flat spot for cover during Storm Kathleen. Served a purpose to protect us in our roof tent in 50+mph gusts but was boggy on the flat area. Only saw one other person that was also looking to use the spot & drove on. Nice walk around the forest though.

Didn’t stay here, too wet in November to pull into the flatter space as it was too boggy. Unable to park and sleep on the slope as it was far too steep. May be ok in peak season when the weather is better.

Small but does the job for an overnight stay. No facilities .near the road (please don't block the forestry gate). only room for 2 vans. we had a lwb Iveco..free

Parking effectivement en pente. La route toute proche est passante, c'est donc assez bruyant. Pratique quand même pour passer une nuit.

Quiet area off the main road. Relatively sheltered and flat. there is a lovely short walk through the gate near the spot, with a beautiful view!

Offset from road, on a slope. There’s 1 flatter spot, fine for a short stopover. Toilet/waste facilities onboard essential. The track up is a bit bumpy but suitable for bigger vans. Quite a lot of midges + tics (every time the dog went for a wee she came back with tics). A couple of cars came up to walk/go through the gate, but no one had an issue with us being parked up.

Super für overnight mit einem kleinen Fahrzeug. Die Zufahrt ist auf den ersten Blick kaum zu finden und der kurze Weg hinauf recht holprig, daher eher nicht für Wohnmobile geeignet. Aber man steht halbwegs gerade und vor allem windgeschützt, was für Dachzelt in dieser Region Schottlands von Vorteil ist. Die Hauptstraße unten ist ab 21 Uhr ruhig.

Great secluded spot. Very quiet. Agree that this is more suitable for smaller vehicles.

stopped here, very secluded just what I was looking for. Great phone signal (three network) would recommend if you don't want all the amenities other park ups may offer.

nice quiet little spot, shame the fence is closed but you can go for a walk there. the locals will do with thier dog. also only one smal level spot for a smal camparvan or like us a 4x4 with rooftent. would nog go there with a big campervan.
