fantastic pub, great staff fantastic stop over. look forward to coming back
*Nouveaux propriétaires* Charmant jeune couple ! Nuit libre et très accueillant. Pas de restauration pour le moment, car ils n'ont pas pris le relais depuis longtemps. Mais nous y sommes allés pour boire des bières. Pas de pression pour acheter quoi que ce soit pour rester, mais au moins quelques verres. ** Nuit gratuite si vous mangez. Petit parking, mieux vaut réserver. Personnel sympathique, arrêt de restauration à 19 h en milieu de semaine. Nombreuses activités en soirée selon les soirées. Habitants sympathiques. Ils prévoient d'installer des branchements électriques.

No pressure to buy anything to stay but at least buy a few drinks. ** Free overnight if you have a meal. Small carpark so best to book. Friendly staff, food stopped at 7pm midweek. Lots of activities in the evening depending on what night it is. Friendly locals. They are planning to install electric hookups.

ninapint02/09/2025Lovely, young couple that have recently taken over. Very welcoming and staying over more than okay. We stayed for a few pints and enjoyed chatting to the owners and locals. Really nice people and a lovely bar. Great nights sleep! Definitely be back!

ranlife22/11/2024stopped last minute, they were incredibly accommodating and very friendly. it was quiz night (Thursday) and we joined in and had a great time. food stops at 7pm I believe, but they even let us order some oven meals as we arrived late.

An excellent place to stay overnight when on a trip north or south. Close to the M1, but absolutely quiet at night. Sonny is a very welcoming host and has an excellent range of drinks to choose from. If we had arrived earlier we would have eaten here too. We will stay here in the future and make time to explore the area.

Pub was very lively on a Friday night. No chance of sleeping before midnight but we had a good evening and appreciated being able to stay. 5 min walk to playing fields which were great for dog and kids in the morning.
