Great park up for the night. Road is up and down, hilly but is possible to get pretty straight. 3 other campers stayed while we were there. Close to the road but very quiet overnight night. Even when there was traffic you’re far enough away that you don’t really notice it.
Wie waren hir für eine Nacht, hinstellen, schöne Aussicht, sonst nichts, aber mehr braucht es auch nicht für die Durchreise.
Peaceful spot, beautiful views, no issues. Some bits are flatter than others, so I can imagine that comes into play if it's busy.
wir haben hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht, nachdem wir den Parkplatz in Scarborough am späten Abend verlassen haben, weil uns dort nicht wohl und sicher gefühlt hatten. Hier standen wir alleine und haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt
The old road is open again. There is scorched land to the side of the road, but this has been cut back and the rubbish removed to tidy the place up a little. Still a great little park up if you do t mind the faint smell of burnt heather.
I live near here and have a van. One of my favourite places. It's currently closed due to the awful moorland fires (06.09.25). Not sure when it'll open up again, but sure it will
Incredible spot, honestly. Couple of people clearly living on this road in their campers, but they were no bother. Tucked myself into a corner and slept all night with no issues. Even had a lovely walk in the morning!
loads of room on this old road. new road traffic can be heard but not too loud. two caravans in so far
great place to park for the night. 3 of 4 caravans/ motorhomes were here. felt very safe and lovely views over the moors. can't get much better than this. great phone signal so streaming 1080p films and TV is possible.
Good place to stop, no one bothers you, bit of traffic noise but nothing bad, nothing around the area. I'll use again

Stayed her last night, fabulous park up, nice and quiet, 1 other there when we arrived but had to ourselves overnight. Good walks, easy access for any vehicle including motor homes ther is an older quy with a caravan on bricks near bottom of road, doesnt look like hes ever been bithered. Will definitely be back.

Awesome! Huge length of even road. Great sky at night with fields on one side. Road the other side but not too noisy and sheltered with a tree line. Very secluded and yet right on the main road.
Lovely dog walk on hard surface over the Moors,nice views, level at the top, sloping on way in and out. Will use again.
