Very much enjoyed our overnight visit. A unique experience on a very cold night. Worth staying up a bit later to catch sight of the wildlife. Sue and Harvey are the real deal sharing their creative and rewilding passions.

Absolutely brilliant stay! Susan is lovely and really welcoming. It's a beautiful little place, with incredible wildlife watching opportunities. My first night I had 3 badgers next to my van, and the 2nd, there were 4 badgers, and I saw my first pine martens! It's a great setting, and volunteer run for the upkeep. The membership cost per month, or the price for an overnight stay is well worth it t
excellent small site, good evening entertainment watching badgers just in front of our campervan
A fantastic stop last night. Susan the owner, and Susan a volunteer, were very welcoming and showed us around this lovely animal sanctuary. We settled in for the night ready for badger watching and were rewarded with a visit from 2 hungry ones. Susan has created a fabulous place and we felt privileged to stay the night - donation made for the stopover, and extra left to help pay for peanuts!
Lovely little campervan area maintained by volunteers. You can pitch your van and watch various wildlife from your cab window. Foxes, pine martens, goats and various birds all frequent this quaint, quiet aire.
Gorgeous place to stay, and very happy to support Susan and her team with the work that they do.
Very peaceful night off grid in Frugaldom. Susan was very welcoming. Convenient stop for the Belfast Ferry. Would recommend if you have your own on board facilities.
Very welcoming couple and excellent site for over night before taking the ferry to Ireland.
Fabulous aire near Newton Stewart. Dark skies and totally off grid. Remote but good roads to get there. Hard standing for 3 motorhomes or self contained campers. Dogs welcome. O lead as ponies and goats on-site. Payment by donation or swaps. Going back soon.
Wow what a find! Hidden away along a track that opens out to a yard big enough for 3 vans/motor homes. No facilities so only self contained but what you have is 12 acres of re-wilding, plants trees herb garden. Ponies and goats and a fantastic owner. I volunteered here, as wanted to help out and left a donation when I left. Perfect spot, dark skies no light pollution great for star gazing
