Stayed night 4/9/25,2 other vans there, made donation to yacht club via their QR code, great views of the Cromarty Firth, right next to the waters edge, level, lots of birds, hills in background, ideal for self contained vans and stop off heading north or south just off A9, shops just a mile up road, some traffic noise but does quieten down, great stop over, left no trace

nice spot! slept with other two vans.

Arrivée sur place nous avons partagé l'endroit avec 2 travailleurs itinérants qui ont passé leur soirée dans leur camionnette donc pas embêtant :) Petite table de picnic sympathique et accès à la mer pour les enfants. Très bien entrenu et très calme, vous pouvez faire un don pour que ce lieux persiste.

Joli parking, joli point de vue. La route un peu bruyante le matin et évidemment quelques oiseaux qui vont avec le paysage.

First stopover on our NC500 trip. £5 suggested donation next the the invergordon yacht club. Great spot with lovely view,some road noise but quietens down later on

Great spot overlooking the water. Plenty of space, pretty level and clean. Picnic bench there. Watched the cruise ship coming in. Road is busy through the day but quiet on a night. There is a good footpath in to Alness and also up to Invergordon. Worthy of a donation to keep this place available to us!

Good location to spend the night. Good view over the water. Almost no noice from passing cars

Ótimo lugar para passar a noite. Tranquilo, com espaço e uma vista muito bonita. Tentamos fazer a doação pelo QR code, mas não deu certo. Colocar uma caixa da honestidade seria uma boa opção para ajudar a manter o local. Muito obrigado ao clube por receber os viajantes!

Zeer mooie plek. We bedanken het bestuur voor deze mogelijkheid. Heb geprobeerd via de QR code te doneren, maar dit lukte niet. Misschien een optie om een brievenbus te plaatsen, want deze plek verdiend een centje. Dalmore distillery op loopafstand .

Lovely peaceful night with one other van. Could not get the donation QR code to work but well worth a donation here just for the views.

Very nice quiet spot with lovely views, nice and flat just leave a donation to the boat club.

Nice, level hard standing with a view of the coast and some oil rigs. Very quiet over night but some sound from the road and some dog walkers arrived very early! (4:30am). No signs to say no overnight parking, just to donate to the boating club.

Great spot, plenty of room and nice and quiet away from the lights and noise. Also, a few lay-by spots further down the road if this car park is too full for your liking.

Some road noise but beautiful views as the sun set. 4 stars as no facilities. We ‘donated’ £5 on the PayPal link- that felt about right.

Beautiful views and great access to a small stoney beach. Please donate as per their request, even if it’s just a bit is better than nothing and makes it worthwhile for them to allow you access! 3 motorhomes and 2 campers parked there.

Lovely place for an overnight stopover. Brilliant views all round.

Great little find whilst travelling around Scotland, will definitely keep in mind for our next visit.

Great place to stay very peaceful space for at least 8 Motorhomes , nice walk along the stone beach . Was a little noise at 6 pm from road side but as the night went on it got quieter !! Well worth £10 donation please give as this is a great site & that’s down to the boat club allowing us to stay !! Phone signal for 3 was full signal plus 4G also Vodafone 3bars & 4 g .

Despite being beside a road very quiet and peaceful at night with great views of the water. Huge thank you to the boat club for allowing this. They have signs with a qr code so you can use it to make a donation. Please do it’s worth it.

Geen voorzieningen maar een prachtige rustige plek met uitzicht op de Cromarty Firth.

Lovely place to stopover for a night - was getting late as we arrived so we were delighted to find it. Thank you to the boat club - donation made as suggested.

Good little stop over, lovely view over the Firth, road is busy but only till around 8pm, lovely watching the Oystercatchers which were also charmingly noisy! As the little sign says leave only foot prints, thanks to the Boat club for keeping the space. Peaceful night ☺️

Guter Stoppover. Aber lauter, als gedacht. Die Straße am Yachtclub ist recht stark befahren (unsere lauteste Nacht).

Beautiful and quiet spot. Amazing views not seen or hear anyone all night and day. Kids loved waking up on the beach and finding shells. So much wildlife to see. No amenities but beautiful. Road noise from 9am but nothing disturbing us.

Mooie plek langs de weg, wij stonden er met 1 andere camper. Je kijkt mooi uit over het water. De wind trok gedurende de nacht op, daarvoor was het wel wat onbeschut. Maar verder een goede nacht gehad, geluid van de weg ernaast valt mee

This was a Great location for us for one night as a pit stop for nc500. We were the only van there all night with great views over the water, and space for our spaniel to sniff around.

Grande place pas très propre. Un peu de bruit car proche de la route. Vue splendide. Parfait pour une nuit.

Lovely spot. Didn’t notice the traffic noise as the views are simply stunning. Watched people taking boats out. Woken to sun. Thanks to the boat yard for allowing campers.

Le pire des arrêts faits ! La route est très passante et les trains passent régulièrement. Sympa pour la vue, la table mais pas pour le calme!

Nice place with a view, no amenities but was a quiet night considering the road right beside us.

Nice seaview, kids were looking for small crabs and seashells. On the yacht club car park indeed but we arrived on a thursday night, there were 2 other motorhomes so no busy place but just enough to feel safe. Nothing more than a pic nique table, some noise coming from the highway but really nothing disturbing, I highly recommend.

Nice place to stay and do some birds watching and wildlife picnic tables to sit outside if nice

Decided not to stay as its the yacht club private car park however the areas nearer Invergordon are public areas and therefore felt "better"

A quite car park with plenty of space. No amenities. Lovely views. We arrived on a Friday night and we’re the only ones there until we left.
