Stayed last night (19/07/24) .. bit doubtful at first as it's a few hundred metres down a very potholed gravel track leading to a sewage farm ! It was surprisingly busy in the evening with kids heading to play in adjacent woods, dog walkers and cyclists til about 10pm and then, at about 1am we were awoken by vehicles .. appeared to be a group out lamping Decent 20Mb data speed on Three

Not the most beautiful but slept like a log. Good spot for walking. Well away from the road so dog friendly. Woman on her own, so important to feel safe.

Road to spot is potholed so take it slow. Would be muddy after rain. Busy with walkers between 6-8pm. Very peaceful after, no bother at all. Great for walking the viking trail. View is spoilt by factory.

this stopover is peaceful and on the viking way and a cycle route but tge ground is slightly boggy so be careful

Lovely quiet park up in the middle of Lincolnshire countryside. Not a very pretty pitch, although it serves the purpose needed. Excellent Viking Trail walks to follow village nearby but in winter this could be a bit of a mud bath. A great summer find.

Tried to stay here last night but was too boggy after the rain fall and didn't want to risk getting stuck. Shame as it looks a nice peaceful place to stay so would probably be ideal when drier!

Sehr ruhiger Platz. Kein Straßenlärm. Nur ein paar wenige Spaziergänger und Radfahrer. Gutes 4G Signal.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot. No traffic noise.

  • 4/5

500m down a track, this is well away from road noise, and very quiet. one trail bike went last, otherwise only cyclists and walkers. parking is level but a bit scruffy. plenty of rabbits and hares to watch.

  • 5/5

    Great spot, quiet. Nice sunset.

  • 4/5

A quiet spot with no traffic sounds and only saw one dog walker in the morning. The view is spoilt with the sight of a factory and the parking area looks like a wasteland (hence 4 stars). Otherwise next to woods and lots of paths so good for dogs.

Met some lovely dog walkers and cyclists. There's also a nice little woodland to explore. This is a gem of a parkup!
