Not for campers anymore. go to Atholl Car park

  • 5/5

Perfect to visit the city and do a nature walk. Our 7.5m RV fitted in too spots. Sundays parking is free. Careful: no overnight sleep or cooking on the spot.

  • 1/5

De gros panneaux rouges et blancs indiquent "No Sleeping Parking or Cooking".

  • 1/5

Went to Pitlochry every couple of weeks, and spent an absolute fortune ,so disappointed that you can no longer park overnight with your motor home ,I will now go where I am welcome to stay overnight ,and give that community my custome .

  • 2/5

Signs now up saying strictly no sleeping camping or cooking, such a shame , so handy for the town

  • 2/5

Used to be a great spot, but there are new signs now. Despite other comments that say it is free parking during the night, that is correct, BUT the new signs clearly state that it is NOT ALLOWED TE SLEEP in the carpark.

  • 5/5

A great location very close to town. Lovely restaurants, we ate at Fern Cottage. We stayed overnight with no issues and shared the car park with two other campers.

  • 1/5

New signs appeared so we had to move on. Now says no sleeping, no cooking. This was one of our favourite overnight stopovers as I’m disabled and it’s so near to town. Several Motorhomes arrived while we were there and all upset. We all agreed that we would have paid a fee to stay overnight. Please note that only daytime parking is now allowed.

  • 5/5

Shared the carpark with 4 other campers and a lorry. Occasional train went past overnight. App bought is a couple extra hours in the morning so we could pop to town for breakfast. Pay from 8am - £3.30 for 3hrs! Smidge on the expensive side for Scotland but cheap for where I’m from!

  • 5/5

really pleased I found this car park as I travel on my own I don't really like stopping over in lay-by. Great was able to park up with enough space for everyone

  • 5/5

Two minutes walk from Main Street. Car park with plenty of space free 6pm -8am then paid £3.50 for 4 hours. A little traffic noise from road behind and sound of train but that’s it. Very level. Others campers and motor homes there. Other car parks direct you to this one as designated motorhome parking.

  • 4/5

Really central spot, close to the beautiful city. Lots of campers. Public toilets close by, altought only open certain times of the day.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Very good for a night, no problems 5 other Motorhome 5 minute walk in to town for Pubs and Restaurants , free parking during Sunday

  • 2/5

  • 4/5

Excellent stop for one night. Quite a sloped car park, but very quiet and free overnight. A lovely circular walk through the town, to the dam, across the river and back over the green bridge which brings you out by the park/fields down the road from this car park - perfect for our dog! Would come back!

  • 5/5

Very quiet. Paid approx £5 for overnight parking. There was a few other overnight campervans in the car park. Sunday 27th Feb 2022. Less than 5 mins walk into Pitlochry town centre.

  • 5/5

Great overnight stay. Quiet, town nearby. Rubbish bin available. Ticket bought in the evening will extend until morning if you have spare time.

  • 3/5

Used the carpark today. We did not stop overnight. We had a chat with the carpark attendant very friendly and pleased to help us park in correct spot. you can get 15mins free parking so you can get change. Great walks and lots of places to eat out. we will be back.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night great spot for visiting the village. Can't believe a few other campers here also getting up early and off before 8am so don't have to pay! It's well worth it.

  • 4/5

Great stop here with plenty of room and access to the village and walks over the dam. Free between 6pm and 8am flat and roomy the odd train passing by but didn't bother us. Great spot

  • 5/5

Closed from 17th 20th September 2021 due to cycling event.

  • 4/5

Fantastic location ...a stroll ,of quite literally , a minute to the bustling heart of Pitlochry. Car park was very busy when we arrived at just after 3pm...managed to get a space and spent a peaceful night there after sampling the delights of the town.

  • 5/5

Great quiet spot, walking distance to the town, couple of pubs, plenty of places to eat. Well worth a visit.

  • 5/5

Very quiet location. Arrived about 4 paid to park as wanted to look around Pitlochry. Bought a curry takeaway which would recommend. During evening more campers came in but still couple spaces left. However it’s September and possibly be more difficult to get a space in high season if left it to late

  • 4/5

A great spot to stop. No issues. RingGo parking app £5.20 all day with Free overnight until 8am. Not the most exciting of views compared to many near the Lochs but right in the town for access to everything.

  • 5/5

Perfect free overnight parking with easy access to town centre. Mostly flat level spaces and there was also quite a few vans/motorhomes staying for the night here. Very quiet.

  • 3/5

    Its £4.80 for 10hrs, 1hr ,2hr & 4hr prices. Free 6pm - 8am. 1st train passes about 5.30am. Two ticket machines. 1 rubbish bin. 13 vans present tonight

  • 3/5

£4.80 for 10 hour's, 8am-6pm after that it's free been here 2 night's, no facilities but the town is only a 5 minute walk, perfect place to be if your self sufficient, no views but it's nice and quiet, great if you don't want to pay campsite prices

  • 4/5

Good location, close to city centre. Lots of motorhomes and looks quite and safe

  • 4/5

Good location close to town centre. Seems a safe place to be. Free from 6pm to 8am, looks like no charge on a Sunday.

  • 4/5

Excellent value for an overnight. We counted 14 other campers/motorhomes that stayed. Many campers left before 8 am to avoid daytime charge

  • 4/5

Stayed overnight on way north. No parking charges all day Sunday or overnight 6pm- 8am. On slight slope but OK for one night. 2 mins walk to village and riverside walks. Lovely scenery. Follow signs for community hospital from main St in the village. Go under the railway bridge and the car park is on your right. Although it is beside the railway line it's not a busy line overnight. Quiet.

  • 4/5

No facilities, we stayed there after a night at the theatre.

  • 5/5

Reasonably level, tarmac covered car park in the heart of the glorious Pitlochry. Five or six other campervans there when we stopped over to eat. Quiet during our visit.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot with plenty of other vans. 2 minute walk to town and nice walks close by. There are lights so pick your spot if you like darkness. Couple of trains rumble past.

  • 5/5

Great that they have this available to stay overnight. Doesn't have signs here saying that you are allowed to stay overnight but another car park in town had signs that said you could overnight here. 'The Plaice to be' chip shop wasn't great so wouldn't recommend that, but lovely little town.

  • 4/5

Great access to the town, plenty of space

  • 5/5

Lovely flat car park free for overnight, no amenities, right next to town centre, quiet apart from the noise of the river flowing and the odd train but never heard any overnight lovely chip shop in town too

  • 4/5

Parking metre now working - £5.80 to cover 10 hours during the day, then free from 6.00pm to 8.00am. 2 minute walk to all shops and cafes. Nice town, good park-up.

  • 5/5

Great location, very quiet between 22:30/08:00, we were surrounded by at least 10 other campervans. Free parking at night and meter currently not in use, so also free throughout the day I guess?

  • 4/5

Great for exploring Pitlochry and free overnight from 18.00 to 08.00. About 12 mohos of various sizes when we stayed. Will definitely use again. Bit of if train nouse but earplugs helped!

  • 2/5

  • 5/5

Nice spot and in the centre!! Highly recommended. No toilets and the public toilet ( 3 min walk ) is closed at night.

  • 5/5

Great carpark in centre of town. Free from 6pm to 8am, or pay £4.40 for 24 hours. No facilities but there are excellent cafés and restaurants nearby. 10 minute walk to the theatre. 1 minute to small supermarket/post office/pizza kebab store

  • 5/5

Nice place to overnight between 6pm and 8am. Public toilets available during daytime (5 min by foot)

  • 5/5

Parking à coté de la voie ferrée. Bitumé mais plat. On y est en sécurité.

  • 3/5

GPS co- ordinates are wrong so just follow the road signs for Ferry Road car park. You can stay between 6pm and 8am. No services but a couple of minutes walk to town for supplies. Right next to the train line but we didn’t hear any trains between 11.30pm and 6am. OK for a nights stop en route

  • 4/5

Great CP just outside town. charges during the day, but you can move to a free CP just down the hill near the feild, (water tap too). A bit of noise from trains, but not too bad.

  • 4/5

Excellent stopover, 5mins to Pitlochry main street. Free 6pm-8am. No facilities.

  • 4/5

Great wee car park in the middle of town

  • 5/5

Tres bonne nuit ici avec 5 camping-cars

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Quiet close to Main Street no issues

  • 3/5

Town centre car park. Pretty quiet but a sign up saying no motorhomes between 8am and 6pm so you need to be away early.
